2 reasons. 1) the player decides what to give you. He would just give me his worst card. 2) legendary fisherman is unaffected by cards so if I play creature swap, it would just negate the entire card.

Exactly. It would be easy to implement a goat Era room, make a banlist. Of course Konami would need to profit from this so they could even make a special pack that only contains goat cards. Give us chase cards like POG, graceful charity etc. That way we get what we want and they make money. That's a realistic approach I feel is possible

@@rhymestyle I play new too but once you just a little competitive it turns into a hand trap sword fight or just plain watch your opponent play solitary.

@@gambitgambles yeah I don’t hate modern but I do hate it when I play people with never ending turns. They go first, I have no counters in hand and they go 5min straight combo-ing. Then all of their effects interrupt everything I do, so it’s basically still their turn. Sometimes I just want the classic back and forth.

@@EBlade3529 ehh. I’d rather play a version of the game where it’s not literally always one person’s turn. Meta just revolves around who gets their neverending engine going first. Once that’s decided the match is basically over. Literally just a one-player game if you don’t just happen to draw some sort of negate from the start. In old school there was pretty much always a chance for a comeback even though it was more random.
