programs used: capcut, ibis paint and the last 2 braincells i had left
while this was for an assignment, i already had a mv animatic style idea for wish i could care less tucked in my drawing to-do list, so i thought that this was the perfect time to make it. and all the stress aside!! this was actually really fun to make!!! i didnt have to color everything but i just had to because colors are so cool i love them sm
i also want to take the time to talk about the next rd mv that im planning to make :D. im not gonna reveal the song until i actually have a draft, but all you need to know is that its another vocaloid song lol
if you have any rd mv/animatic ideas as well, feel free to let me know! editing is hell but its honestly really satisfying to see videos like these come together and i genuinely do want to make more when i do have the time :]

As someone who makes music, this perfectly encapsulates what it's like to be productive and struggle with mental illness. Doubting my talent, comparing my work to others, and an irrational need to "perfect" everything I put my effort into are things I struggle with daily. This song expresses those struggles so eloquently. I also love this song because it ends on a positive note at the end, saying that there's always gonna be another day ahead of you to try again. It's super short and sweet but fulfills its purpose.

Its not even like, a super important song in the actual game, its just a side thing. And yet it has more heart behind it than alot of big budget pop songs nowadays. wish i could care less is just an amazing song and im so so glad i was able to make something based on it coles arc resonates a lot with me, and despite it just being a side thing makes it much more meaningful somehow. the way night shifts are optional hits harder when you do decide to invest yourself in the story more. this is just me being sappy over rhythm doctors story again but it's just that great lmao

Out of all of the amazing moments in that game, somehow this one little song tucked away behind an optional night mode ended up sticking with me the most. I was actually into music composition back when I played Rhythm Doctor (nowadays I mainly either work on my singing or I have no time :'( ). And man dude, this song hit me like a goddamn meteor. help wait i didnt think about that 😭 the colors getting darker was more of that feeling of falling deeper into frustration, and while the colors are still dark at the end it's a little warmer as if the artblock was accepted and deciding to "give it another go" some other time. but that interpretation of it happening throughout the day adds so much more to it ough and thank you, i appreciate it :D

Doing this exact thing right now. Need to write my dissertation... have written 0 words in the past several hours because I'm too scared to write something dumb. I can edit it -- will be be editing it -- but that doesn't make the first draft easier... Damn perfectionism kills my motivation. I just sit here being a worse version of myself than if I was okay just letting me be who I am instead of who I think I ought to be; a self-fulfilling prophesy. But I'm not even sad because I know who I am and I know that this is just what I do. So instead I resign myself to watching things other people have finished hoping someday I'll be there, too... This video is just so beautifully made and AHHHH i love it so much!! I kept laughing at all the silly little bits sprinkled here and there those were some of my favorite parts. This video really hit close to home because I'm stuck in a loop of comparison and perfectionism and i just wish i could care less and focus on myself. I've done pretty well on stopping myself from getting into that loop and feeling down on my skill and ability but it gets a lil too hard sometimes. It's okay though I've made it this far I'm not gonna stop now. But anyway aside from that I wanna say once again that I really enjoyed this video and now I have a new song to play when I feel unmotivated so HOORAY! thank you and I hope your midterms go/went well!

There are some days where you plan on doing something and then don't, there are days when you plan to do nothing and then suddenly do everything that you have on the back burner despite wanting to relax and do nothing. And then there are those very rare days where you do what you plan on doing and or wanted to do on the day you decided to do it. Those last days are very rare for no reason Answer this video it is very relatable in the lack of purposeful productivity in my own life.

This is wonderful, I had no clue Capcut could be such a smooth editor for animation transitions. From art to timing this is beautifully put together and is relatable to so many artists including myself- subbed!
