RHYTHM EXERCISE TO IMPROVE YOUR SIGHT READING SKILLS

This exercise is to train your rhythm-reading skills. Very recommended to practice before sight reading exercise.
Consist of many exercises from different level of difficulties, this exercise is expected to train your tempo and rhythmic awareness. It is very useful for anyone who play instruments such as, drum or any percussion, piano, guitar, violin, cello, etc.
Since this is an exercise video, you may play along with the video. Listen to the beat and tempo while you play the rhythm. To do so, you may clap your hands or play with any percussive instruments.
Hopefully it could help you better in doing sight reading skills and have strong awareness about the tempo, beat and the rhythm.

Finally, someone is addressing rhythm by hand clapping the exercise with the snare drum playing along.. The beat kept strict by the tapping of the woodblock. The only thing missing is to have the students or participants walk to the tempo in a military-like cadence starting off with the left foot. 😊

I've always struggled with rhythms but this really helped. Having both the metronome and the drum was a great idea and helped me a lot.

I love this. One thing for me, since I'm in an orchestra well a kid orchestra could you make these rhythms harder please. Because I need to be able to sight read complicated rhythms. But this is a great practice. Orchestra: Saint John Youth Orchestra
