It may feel unpleasant... but it's fair game to copy other teams' moves. I mean, that's what Karasuno has been doing since S1, ever since Ukai copied triple-front-decoy-back-attack for Asahi to defeat Date Tech haha And S2 training arc was all about Karasuno copying every specialty of the other teams in the training camp

In the manga Hinata actually hoped Kageyama'd at least praise him for a nice jump. The "expectations VS reality" contrast was rather harsh x) Aran is his first name! Not sure how obvious it was, but what makes the situation even funnier is that when Kageyama thinks that he "almost fell for Hinata's feint", it wasn't really a "feint" - Hinata got a bit reckless and forgot about the blocker first, nearly ran into him, and had to quickly nyoom to the side, forcing Kageyama to adjust the toss. Meanwhile Kageyama thought that Hinata had it all planned x) Saeko's taiko drumming hobby was mentioned in the beginning of S2 when everyone was getting ready for the exams at Tanaka's! Nothing is wasted in the story~ (except for maybe Saeko herself drinking till 5 am...)

Atsumu doing the quick attack, as an experiment in the middle of an official game, after seeing it a single time, is a testament to his technique being slightly above even Kageyama's level.

Not necessarily. The OG quick from S1 had Kageyama calculating not only Hinata's run and jump, but also his swing speed and point of impact bc Hinata used to keep his eyes closed. Atsumu, as talented as he is, has the benefit of a spiker with his eyes open who can adjust his swing to where the ball is. That level of skill belongs to Kageyama. Though that can be a weakness if Kags is in an unfamiliar area and has to adjust his visual grid.

@@AnakinDramaticSkywalker Kageyama isn’t doing that one anymore, he’s doing the S2 quick that he had to practice for using bottles so Hinata could have his eyes open and have options on where to hit it.

@@Revaiel_ I'm comparing Kageyama and Atsumu from when the both started doing freak quicks. Kageyama's technical skill was higher. Kageyama didn't have the benefit of an example to work with, all he had was his pin point accuracy and a speedy newbie spiker.

@@AnakinDramaticSkywalker I’m saying that the spiker is an irrelevant variable, because it changes nothing. The series is very clear that Atsumu is to Kageyama what Hoshiumi is to Hinata (though the former two are closer together in skill than the latter)

@@Revaiel_ the spiker is very relevant if he's closing his eyes and the setter is doing all the work. Kageyama and Atsumu are very similar, and Atsumu is a better setter overall at this point, but no setter in this show has surpassed Kageyama's technical skills.

Hyogo Prefecture is Western Prefecture. It is where Kobe city located, right next to Osaka Prefecture. So the twin is basically Kansai-ben. Probably explain the Inari and temple themes of the team.

Atsumu word before setting the freak quick to Osamu is the same word that Kageyama mutter in final match of first season where they are beaten down by Aoba Johsai. What made Haikyuu so good is that each major match usually have specific theme. From team work and cohesiveness in match with Aoba Johsai to battle of philosophy with Shiratorizawa. Match with Inarizaki is all about past experience which already shown several times in this episode. First is when Saeko-nee mention that she decide to bring Taiko drum squad after being frustated with Shiratorizawa cheering squad. Second is when Hinata starting to channel his ball boy training by at least trying to response to enemy spiker. Third is when Daichi reinterate that they have fight opponent with strong serve before, the like of Oikawa and Ushijima. Last is when Atsumu mutter same word Kageyama said when tossing the freak quick to Hinata. It is the reason why this season OP is the only one that feature past main rival who some of them only got couple seconds of screen time and the ED is all about the Miyagi team that they beat to get to National. It all tie nicely to Inarizaki banner: "We Don't Need Memories". But are we trully don't need memories to keep progressing?

That's right! All their experiences are meaningful! By the way, "memories" of the burner means "I didn't come to make memories in this place!We have come to win!" In Japanese. The word "omoide" is used, and the meaning is a little different ... Karasuno also needs some experience, but I don't think they came to make memories! However, I think it will be a memory in the future! I'm Japanese, but there are too many nuances of Japanese and I can be confused as well. And Haikyu fans around the world will be surprised and happy to understand this work and to think deeply! Of course there are new discoveries!

They say slide is more of a female volleyball attack, because it is. Male volleyball is more about power, so middle blockers just block for the entire match, they maybe do a couple of 1st tempo attacks but they are constantly marked. Girls' volleyball is more about agility, so they use the slide to create space and change the pace a little. It's mostly about being 2m tall and very heavy, think about Dateko people. That's why against Shiratorizawa Tsukki tried a slide as a feint, but it was not really believable. Hinata, being that short, has the agility and the speed to pull them off. Regardless of "it's usually for girls", it's a cool and effective play.

hyogo prefecture is located Kansai region. Hyogo capital is kobe and its the 7th largest city of japan. They are 47 prefectures of Japan so It's understandable if you only know a little.

I know its something that cant be controlled but I really hate when reactors see the twins doing that quick attack and blame them for copying it , I mean it is an impossible move to be copied but rather than showing appreciation , everyone gets pissed off at it .... It may be uncontrollable but still it annoys me😅

Like I said it may be uncontrollable bcoz karasuno is our fav team and when someone uses their special move , it is hard for us to accept but it gets me ... But anyway nice reactions as always✌🙂

Oh that lol Just so you know, I think it should be clear that Lindsay was being playful and not at all serious. She doesn't actually dislike any of the players r actually think that they're bad for playing well lmao she was just making a joke and getting a little bit excited playing the part as if she WAS someone who was overzealously hateful toward them. That's the whole joke! Just thought I'd clear that up since other people have praised us for the way that we DON'T do what you were afraid of us doing (hating other teams just cause we're against them in a match) anyway, thanks for watching and glad we can all get excited about this awesome show!!

To be fair Atsumu's toss isn't the same as Kageyama's toss. Atsumu is setting to someone who has their eyes open and can freely adjust so long as the ball shows up in the general vicinity of the spiker's jump. Kageyama's og freak toss was a pinpoint accurate fast pass right through the point of impact of Hinata's swing. Kageyama's requires more technical skill. Additionally, Kageyama has already changed his set to the falling set, which Atsumu doesn't seem to be doing yet. Atsumu is fcking amazing to do what he did, but his method of doing so was different because of his spiker. Only Kageyama could've used Hinata like he did in S1.
