Thank You very much .We were unlucky that the weather was bad that day , but in 2001 it was better and RIAT 2001 was held for the last time in Cottesmore. The footage of 2001, I am working on it . What I learned when I edit this footage that the public stood closer to the runway and that I could film with a normal camera , now a days I need a camera with an extra zoom to have the same distant effect."For our safety" , Higher and further . it is a false security because especially higher up makes the possible crash surface much larger.Also True when you are higher it gives the pilot a second more time to correct an error. Greetings and watch out for RIAT 2001 with a lot more flying and with a lot of historic legends that were commonplace at that time .
