He is well known for his work in the minimal techno and microhouse genres playing along the likes of Richie Hawtin and Luciano. His productions sees him deliver trippy minimal sounds alike, all conveyed with his signature and long remixes. It’s not often you find an artist whose energy is as infectious as Villalobos and the genuine enjoyment he takes in playing is evident, dancing with his arms in the air. It’s clear why he has such a cult following. Villalobos is anything but predictable, so from heavy techno, to unusual vocals and african rhythms, here are 22 tracks that makes him unique.

Excellent mix! I have been buying Ricardo’s vinyls since decades, I should take the time to also record a mix with all those records: remixes, Richard Wolfdorf and other aliases, all the Perlon, Playhouse, Candeza tracks… Congrats !

herr drumcode Sie sind nicht in Chile gewesen und auch nicht in Hindonesien bei RV, sie waren doch beim DrumCode in Europa und just 2-3-4 tracks are new, rest are MAINSTREAM. Not a fan of RV but I bet the guy has such a treasure of music that: 1. he dont even play his own stuff like you stated. 2. he dont even know what to play, that's how much of a boss he is. lol
