Poor Douglas! I would love to know Ricci’s thought process as to why Douglas needed to be taken into the store room. I’m sure it made purrfect sense to her. Douglas sez: Mama in a mood today!

It used to be possible for a mama cat to force her way out. The bottom of the door was not secured. Ricci was "exploring" the big room during Shelly's earlier visit. Evidently she found a place she wants to move to, but she's a good mama and wants to take her kittens.

I honestly think that when Ricci was in the 2nd room earlier while Shelly was letting the kittens have some floor time Ricci decided she wanted to move the kittens into the 2nd room. That's why she wanted the door open and why she took Douglas out of the nest.

Sure looks like it. Ricci _really_ wanted to go out of the room with Shelly and, when she was blocked, she got Douglas and brought him over to the door, waiting for it to open again.

This is what i think happened to my kitten. Mom moved them and somehow go mine outside. My cat was found at 4 weeks, outside in the road during a hurricane.

I think Ricci found a new nest spot when she was exploing the 'big room' . Trys to convince Douglas he can fit under the door. 11:50 Ricci starts with the 'growly noms' 😂 Douglass squeaks momma looks at him - 'Just hold onto your patient pants young man, I need to finish this so I can feed all you piglets'

If Ricci does figure out how to think herself and her kits through a solid door, as Shelley suggested she do, we'll be so surprised. Cats will be the first species to evolve to that level, I bet.

No, Ricci moved the kittens to the other COS a few days ago. Shelly moved them to the old cos yesterday morning because it’s hard to do lap time sitting in the litter box. Ricci has a mind of her own! 😂

It was kind of a roundabout way, but Ricci seemed to be trying to show Douglas how to eat from the bowl.

I think Ricci was trying to tell someone to come look at baby. That's why she kept taking it to the door and was pawing under it to get attention. I hope that nothing is wrong with the kitten. 🐾Thank you for all the care and loving you give to all the animals. I hope that in the New Year things might be different, God willing 😇🙏❤🐾

Wow they're all so precious and beautiful. I thought that the little kitten in the room with Mom or Dad was moved out of the fluffy cat bed, because of the blankets, especially the big grey blanket because kittens can smother in blanket. I was thinking how precious and conscientious of that loving parent 😊❤❤❤❤😇🥰🥰🥰 Thank you for sharing them with us❤😊

Cats want the kittens in a safe spot away from people usually. My last cat with kittens moved them every time I touched them. I moved them back three times and told her she was safe, please leave the babies in the box. She finally agreed with me and stayed in the big box I made for her. Until they all were able to climb out and get into stuff. So cute 🥰 I miss them so much.

He’s very fine and back in the nest. Mamas move kittens all the time, and they’re old enough to maintain their heat pretty well.

You should never put collars on cats and especially on kittens, it's outright cruel.

They do that for a reason. So they can track weight & progress to make sure they are growing properly & sometimes kittens come out looking alike. Trust me they’ve been doing this for a long time & check the collars to make sure they’re not too tight!
