Richmund O'Brian made this song on 1983. It was a huge hit. Happy to see his son, Richard O'Brian, continue the legacy of his father. Now we know him as Rich Brian.

Ahhh, Richmund was a brilliant musician, i remember when he did a collab with Michael Jackson at Muara Angke, it was a blast tho, that after the 5th song, the crowd starts to threw fish everywhere. So sad what happened to him in 1999, he forgot to drive safe when he rushed to the hospital (crashed against a metromini, and he died instantly) after hearing about his son's birth, Richard. But I'm glad that his son continue his legacy as a very talented rapper RIP Richmund O' Brian 1966-1999

'Cause I just wanna feel your touch 'Cause I don't think I had enough The smiles turn to frowns quick Need a break from night shifts That's where the hours pass too slow Leave no time to grow My favorite things Milk with cookies and cream I swear, where did the good times go? It don't show no more Polaroid photos looking like a movie scene (ayy) Thank you for the memories, I don't know what it means (ayy) It's broken, don't know how to fix it, I need a minute I never go away like a hiccup, I'm far from finished Just made me happy, girl, I need it right now A couple laughs and then I'm out the picture, sun down This ain't the time to cry We don't have much time Gone too far to change Time to get your rollerblades That smile is worth the wait Here comes better days All these thoughts I have in my head Got me blinded from the sunset I'm tryin' hard to stop the rain 'Cause smilin' doesn't feel the same I just called to tell you, "Drive safe" Will I see you in the mornin'? back in the day of 82's summer... there was train accident, the train driver/operator didn't check the engine and stuff. The engine break wasn't worked, but luckily theres a car hit the train so it was stopped. But, sadly the driver was died on the crash accident. The driver lately known as Richard and his last words before he die was "I'm trying hard to stop the train" and now 2019 his kid named Rich Brian made tribute song to his father. RIP Richard.

i remember singing this for my crush in 1982 to impress her , because i knew it was her all time favorite song :) Now she's my wife and we have 2 beautiful and healthy kids together. Believe in yourselves guys , hit her up and maybe she will like you back! you got nothing to lose . i remember i used to like her for the entire high school period and finally had the courage to make a move on her after all the time we spent together as friends. I dreamed about that moment for so long i didnt even sleep the night before that . I used to carry my guitar with me everytime we met ... my hands were so shaky , but i fought the feeling and started to sing her the song . The sound of the waves couldnt have been more melodic than that . I was so shy , but i looked her in the eyes for every second i was there , seeing the moon shining in her brown eyes made me have a loud thought in my head '' I WILL MARRY YOU '' . She didnt say a word till i finished singing . She grabbed my hand , i dropped the guitar and then she hugged me so tight and so warm i couldnt believe.:) The rest is history

Rich Brian’s “Drive Safe” was the first dance song at my wedding. It means so much to my wife and I… It was the first song I ever passionately sung to her. She was having a really stressful day, and she just sat on the bed and stared up at me tearfully when I started singing to her. Respectfully, due to this meaning, I cannot stand the existence of a fast-paced “Drive Safe”. I cannot stand this version, personally.
