Baker Mayfield, who isn't known as being particularly mobile, had more rushing yards than Jalen Hurts. It's difficult to overstate how badly the Eagles executed all phases of the game.

Hurts taking that Safety was without question the DUMBEST PLAY in Modern NFL HISTORY. 1st a Play starting at the .....14 YARD LINE....DOES NOT END IN A SAFETY , 2nd Hurts had PLENTY OF TIME to get rid of the ball, 3rd In was THE PLAY that Ended the game and 4th it was the PLAYOFFS. so yea lets just call it the WORST PLAY in NFL HISTORY. (Never mind the fact that it came from a so called "elite" player! (lol)

Nah, the bad drop by Evans which could have been a TD was then turned into a TD by Moore. So still a TD and around the same yards. If you account for drive stalling drops, he would have finished with 399 yards.

This is what the Eagles season has been for the whole season. Much is made about how they were 10-1 before the 49ers game and fell apart. That's not what happened. What happened is that they were lucky to not be 6-5 before the 49ers game, they had been squeaking by against bad teams, never decisively beating anyone, and masking a lot of inefficiency across the board with the tush push. Then they played the 49ers and that game broke their souls and destroyed any illusion of swagger or invincibility that they were perceived to have.

@@Wizwiz2112 Hi Wiz. Yes, players of the caliber of the Eagles' roster simply do not suddenly go amnesiac, and forget how to play good football. Not after a hyper dominating 2022 season and a 10-1 stretch. It's beyond plays and play calling. It looked like they were "on strike" somehow, willingly playing tag football in order to settle, or exacerbate, some internal feud. I hope we learn what went on. Peace to you, sir.

The play of the game came right before the safety. The game then was very much still in doubt late into the 3rd quarter. Jalen Hurts basically whiffed on a block. Didn't even try to do one. And his RB got tackled because of it. That changed the game and was really a good example of how Philly played. Heartless. Every team which lost this weekend except the Rams played scared and without any real heart in the game. Dallas, Philly and Pittsburgh. And all of those coaches are going to be leaving their teams. They are all in their final year of their contract next year and their teams pretty much quit in the playoffs.

The Cowboys and Eagles both failed to prepare for the wild card opponent. They were looking early to the divisional round. The Eagles collapse in the second half of the season was epic.

Once opposing teams understood the Eagles defensive and offensive schemes and tendencies, the Eagles never adjusted. The reason for that is the coaches are both inexperienced and stubborn. They kept making the same mistakes, saying they will fix it, and that it is just a matter of execution.

It looked as if the Eagles were not really trying to tackle at all. And the playcalling on offense was crazy; 2 runs followed by 100 passes. NFCE is out, both teams got their tush kicked and for the Eagles I feel little pity.

Chiefs did the same thing in the SB. They completely gave up on the run and Mahomes was running for his life and last night looked similar. Hurts wasn't running backward for -500 yrds, but the Bucs went after him all night long, and he had no pocket at all.

I dont understand why everyone thinks Hurts is such a great QB? He doesnt possess leadership skills as far as I can tell? He is average when forced to stay in the pocket. He always seems to be injured when not performing well. And sits and sulks on the sideline! Blamed his teammates for not having desire or whatever term he used. He quit and so did the team. Leaders dont do that. They will their teams to win.
