Another 80's girl here! Most hair styles of those days were on steroids! Bigger was better. My hair is stick straight & refused to hold a curl. Only way to make it work was to get a perm. Then hot rollers could create nice curls. We still had to tease at the roots & use half a can of hair spray to hold it in place. Both ladies in this video have gorgeous, thick, bouncy, shinny hair! Thank you for sharing!
@lagunagirlbythesea6 ай бұрын

What probiotic do you take?
@Tashlie177 ай бұрын
Hi May i know what type of probiotic you’re taking?
@mizbarehana54986 ай бұрын
There is not a lot of evidence that supports this. Probiotics and hair growth don't have a strong connection, as per studies. Deficiency in vitamin D, iron, biotin, etc. are more directly correlated to your hair's condition and growth. It's best to conduct a blood test to figure out which areas you're lacking in and take supplements accordingly to fix the issue! Taking supplements you don't need has a reverse effect: does a lot of harm than good. So don't follow someone's suggestions blindly and instead figure out what your individual body needs based on actual data!!
@bloodline11584 ай бұрын
Be thankful 😂 Why? It’s just genetics.
@GrumpyCat243 ай бұрын
Probiotics don't do anything drastic like that

This is my go to style for special occasions! I learned it from my mother ages ago. I have type 3 curly hair that is about an inch under my bra strap when straight and I rarely flat iron, for reference and this style is the only one that battles frizz and humidity for me. To avoid the crimp, loosely tie the high pony with a ribbon and also use flexi rod curlers and set it overnight with a bit of spray if your hair doesn’t hold a curl. That will make it last longer. Otherwise she did a beautiful job and looks fabulous! Edit: in case anyone was wondering, this style looks great on shorter hair too! Think collarbone length. Just on shorter hair use less rollers so you don’t look like orphan Annie lol.

@jennykim62207 ай бұрын
No matter what I do my hair will never turn out that way. My hair is way too thin..you look fabulous!
@lovejones80417 ай бұрын
My hair is extremely fine as well. When I wear it straight it seems a little limp. Something that is helping me is I have started oiling my hair once a week. Oiling the scalp and then I sleep with the oil on my hair then wash it out the next morning, and I can tell a huge difference in the volume and thickness of my hair.
@kaiaclark83837 ай бұрын
@@lovejones8041i wouldn't recommend sleeping with oils on your scalp. It can clog pores and lead to hair kids because the scalp can't breathe. Put it on right after you get home from work or on a day when you're just lounging round the house and wash it out after a few hours. Oil can stay on your ends longer but should not be on the scalp for longer than 4-5hrs (especially if you have thin hair)

I thought this was a regular thing, as I use to do this back in 96-97 when they use to sell them rollers in a box that you would plug in and get them hot and then put on your hair. When I was in a hurry I would put my hair in a ponytail, put the rollers on and then let my hair down when they cooled down. Fabulously curly, volume at 💯 and hair looking flawless 😅 I was just a teen back then.

For years I was teased and felt bad that my hair was so poofy and voluminous. People called me “mop” (no joke). My hair adores mousse too, but I didn’t dare. The shame made me crave the flat iron and find ways to flatten every wave down till my hair was mad. Now that I’m finally embracing my natural wave, flips and volume, I’m so beyond pleased to see big hair being embraced!💗
