OMG... when I lived the Toronto KZfaqrs were always selling gear after they reviewed it, great way to see if they "really" liked the product or not was if it showed up on their FB or Kijiji profiles 3-5 days after the review went live.

Funny if Matti responds to this video. Don't think you threw Matti under the bus at all. With what he was doing, he was lying down on the highway waiting for a bus. To be fair, if he wanks over and signs the gears, he can probably sell for double the price. Quadrupled, if it comes with the video of the process. Not that I'd buy it. Just saying.

To be honest here in Canada the second hand market is insanely overpriced, people sell used stuff for 50 bucks cheaper than brand new... and think it’s a good deal. It’s insane, I see shit on my watch list overpriced for about a year and still going.

I agree with you all. I discover travel feels for the cinematic travel videos then peter's channel. Matti is way better cinematographer than petter back in the days. Now his tech reviews are 20% product 80% what ever he wants with a cringy jokes sometimes.

@@chanuki2195 matti was never a cinematographer true, he did a few weddings and faked his way to a few spec spots. He even admitted when shooting one of Mark Bones fake spec shots he was using the C300 and didn't know how to turn the camera on. They're all church boy youth group bros so the incest runs pretty deep. Hard agree with you

That's his business image though. These people aren't real photographers. They're KZfaqrs who happen to take photographs. Part of their business model is selling heir equipment to fan boys who think that the equipment has some magical quality because it was owned by their hero. It's like when Boomers used to buy autographs of Brad Pitt and Celine Dion on ebay back in the 80s. Same grift new platform. People who are interested in real photographers don't involve themselves with these KZfaqrs. I mean my favourite photographer is Jean Baptiste Mondino and I've never ever seen hiss face let alone watched a video of him talking about Auto Focus and that's the way it should be. *Work* over *Cult of Celebrity* . What I'm saying is, it's not greed, it's just in their DNA.

That ZV1 has become my studio cam now, it shocking looks WAY better than my APS-C cameras. I'll suppose I should list those for sale.. at a premium price!

Every time I sell my camera stuff I price it to sell. My ZV-1 with Crane M2 combo sold within 30 minutes of eBay listing. The gimbal was basically free, including 3 extra official Sony batteries (not the knockoffs ewwww) and the Lens Mate filter holder. My prices are so good people sometimes think it's a scam but my 5 star eBay rating doesn't lie. I always provide a link to an unlisted video showing the item in detail as well (not just pictures on the eBay page). I like to sell things at a lower price to give someone a good deal :)

Sold my DSC R1 for like $60 recently, good camera, but it got replaced by an X-T4 and it was sad that it's just laying there not taking pictures

You know, I do recall once seeing an ad from a certain Youtubuer for an OMD EM-1 with the IR filter removed. It would've been been a good price for a regular EM-1, but if you were to consider the pain and suffering caused by such a camera, it should've been less than free.

I pounced on Oly 7-14/2.8 for $500 and it came with dents! Actually just a couple of scratches on the barrel so no big deal. When I was looking, I saw many ridiculous listings. I really hate it when they include the MSRP + tax to justify their high asking price.

Olympus E-M1 MK1 I picked up second hand, and my Fuji X-T3 with a 35mm F2 lens is all I need. Don't even look at other cameras now. But love watching this channel for its comedic twist. 🤣
