We rode into spike camp and glassed a herd that evening.

Yup good hunt horses lot bison .good ground no bushes rivers natches .no grizzlies wsiting for the dinner bell ..thats living right probly used a 338 .ir 375 hh .eh .all insll was good lots help

What caliber where you using and how far was the shot.

I believe it was a 7mm and about 275 yards They started out at about 700 yard and kept feeding closer Our shot cut off was 400. The bull we were after did not provide opportunity until 275. In fact we were just discussing taking a different one if needed.
