Asian languages can compact more meanings into fewer words while still sounding aesthetically pleasing. To convey the same meanings in the average literacy level, English needs to use much longer sentences, which is an hinderance in song writing (that's why English songs can be very repetitive compare to Asian songs). Technically, English can compact even more meanings into a few words, but people don't have the literacy level for difficult vocabularies with 4-8 syllables, and I bet they sound terrible as lyrics.

It's partly that they use only vowels which are quite easy to sing (as opposed, for example, to r-coloured vowels like "er" or "ar", or to a lesser extent even to mixed vowels like the French u or German ö), a relatively high vowel-to-consonant ratio (vowels are nicer to sing and listen to than consonants), a vowel at the end of almost every syllable, and the singers sing long consonants as elongated vowels instead of letting the long consonant break the flow of vocality. Italian, Spanish, and ecclesiastical Latin have a lot of the same advantages, and they're also widely considered to sound really good.

Back in 6th Grade, one of my first friends I made was named Dahlia. From the very start, she was a person who was very bubbly, energetic, and would always have the brightest smile on her face. Every single day, she would always greet me with a bear hug. Running up to me and eventually knocking me down. At first, I was about to scold her, but eventually I didn't say anything because of the huge smile plastered on her face whenever she would hug me. I never let this relationship proceed any further though. At that time, I didn't know the meaning of romance. I didn't know when I felt it, how to transition from being a friend into dating, etc. I was just plain hopeless on that front. Eventually came the end of my 6th Grade, the last day of school. Everyone was saying their goodbyes to each other and wishing everyone a happy summer. Everyone except Dahlia, however. When I went up to her, I turned her to face towards me and what I saw was heartbreaking. She had tears overflowing from the lids of her eyes, at the volume greater than any of her classmates. I thought this was strange and asked her what was wrong and she told me that she was moving. I immediately tried to ask her where and she told me it was a place that was on the other side of the world. At that moment, my heart broke and I immediately came to realize what the feeling of love was. But it was too late... I could only cry as she left to go on the bus. The memories of her clinging desperately to the window as the bus left still makes me tearful to this day. I now live my life still searching for Dahlia to this day. Until I meet her and tell her that I'm sorry and that I loved her, I will still keep on looking for her.

2 days ago, I met a girl in a bus I was sitting alone on left window side seat of a bus And I was there having a good time listening on some J-Rock and J-pop and suddenly there’s a girl suddenly sits next to me, after a few minutes of enjoying the night view of city on the window of the bus I was riding she suddenly look at me and I look at her too and I said to myself (I might regret this later if I don’t speak or say hi to her and she is really cute not gonna lie) and yeah I said “Hi” to her and she “hello’wd” back to me and we started talking about some stuff and she also ask what Japanese rock band I always listen to, I said I often listen to “Yorushika, Eve, ORESAMA, Zuttomayonaka. etc.” she said “nice” And I realized that I’m about to reach my bus stop. Before I get out of the bus I said “See ya” to her and YOU KNOW WHAT? I forgot to ask her name and yeah I regret everything, my existence, my stupidity, my lack of skills in shading using every type of coloring in traditional drawing, Everything. But If I saw her once again I’ll swear I shall ask her name and try to become friends with her. That moment of my life reminds me of this song.

Fun fact: i think this song is really true ^^ I met the love of my life and I listen to this song since it got posted. last year my super best friends had a accident and he confirmed had a amnesia(memory loss)he only remember a little bit thing i ask him who is my name? he kept silence,and one week later i go visit him he still not remember then i play this song all of sudden he grab my hand and hug me,he cry and said Isaac is that you and then i felt so shocked and i start to cry,when i thought this song is a miracle i remembered two day before he accident we listen to this song together and we make a promise if both of us not together anymore we will use this song to find each other.but sadly two month after his recovery he died because of his brain cannot work normally so his brain cannot receive a oxygen...until this day i still hearing to this song to kept him in my heart

For me this song is a beautiful lifetime, here is my interpretation of the lyrics 😆 *sorry for my bad english* ~"Seimei-sen sono tochu de" which is mean "In between a lifetime"~ the first one (0:50) , she part with him, either broke up or he must leave for reason the second one (2:26), she wish to meet him again. Promise to never to let him go the third one (3:06), shows that she already reunited with him. she knows when facing a hard time, he will be there the forth one (3:31), they get married, there is happiness and sadness during life, as well meeting and parting as they grow older, yet she is really grateful. And the last part, if it exist, she wish to meet him in the next life, hoping to see that smile again. The End~~
