@@thechappist I gave up on the book 😂😂 it was too wordy to focus on I just ended up drifting and only reading a page at a time. Now it's just on my shelf, barely read. I'm sure it's good, it just couldn't capture my focus enough 😂

One of but a handful of fragments of early 21st century writing discovered on a highly radioactive Amazon Kindle in the year 3911 AD, Richard Ayode's Ayoade on Top provides post-Fall historians (or "retrosticians") with powerful evidence of the existence of "moving pictures". Finally decoded in full nearly a century later following the discovery of a Rotokas-English dictionary, View from the Top's beloved plotline becomes the basis of a new genre of jet-based theatre. While Ayoade's true name has long since been lost to bit rot, such was his shimmering genius that his very image is lifted from the front cover and hand-copied pixel by pixel onto vellum. This becomes the centrepiece of the Ṩꝑlurgꭄꭑ; an art museum occupying the site of deposed warlord (and hyper-intelligent cockroach) Ṭ'ȹexļ the Gargantuan's cavernous tyre fortress. Nearby Xø̈viʐ' University becomes the global centre of Critical Bruno Barreto Studies, a field revolutionised twenty five years later by the discovery of a promo screener of One Tough Cop on VHS at the bottom of an ash pile.

I love that he doesn't really interest himself with others lives. I love him as a great comedian but could care less about his personal life. Way to stay stoically down to earth while flexing about balconies.
