I had the great pleasure of seeing Richard Lewis perform at the Valley Forge date mentioned in this video. He was amazing. I also had the honor of meeting him. Gracious, gloriously neurotic, and wonderful. I’m heartbroken. Rest in Peace, sir. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

i agree with you about his hair although as a man, i'm not prepared to say he was gorgeous. but i certainly have been moved to tears watching him on letterman and watching him here. carl weathers' death upset me similarly.

My hubby and I saw him many years ago at NYC's Bottom Line and sat at the front table. He was hilarious. His legacy will be- one of the greatest stand-ups of all time. His unique brand of humor was off the charts.

Read Richard's The Other Great Depression and it helped me more than I could imagine with my issues, never thought of therapy after that. Connected with him first time I saw him his initial appearance on Letterman. A comic genius if ever there was one.
