Richard Marx is an amazing singer/songwriter. He's written songs with/for Luther Vandross, Kenny Rogers, Keith Urban and NSYNC just to name a few. He is one of my all time favorites. Glad to see you reacting to him. You should check out Now and Forever and Hazard

Richard Marx is incredible! You are so cute “...missing someone I don’t even know.” Love 💕 it. Power of RM! This is by far the fav, but Hold On To The Nights, Now and Forever, etc. are also wonderful. He also writes songs for other artists-“This I Promise You”-*NSYNC (beautiful!), “To Where You Are” Josh Groban (so sad but a must hear! ), among others.

I was a teenager in the 80s. You are right, everyone could sing. Every week or two there would be some new song that is still being played at events today. That was just how it was for us. And “this song got me missing someone I don’t know” was just about the best one sentence summary I have ever heard.

My parents educated me so well that although I was born in 97 I was able to grow up with them too. I do sometimes wish I was around when they were released though, it must have been a truly magical time.

I love him. I saw him in concert last year he was still amazing 30 some odd years later. This is one of my favs of all time. He is not only an amazing singer he’s an amazing songwriter. He wrote for Keith urban, Luther vandross ( dance with my father) that’s just 2 of a very long list. Much respect. He wrote this and his song “ now and forever” for his first wife Cynthia Rhodes.
