Nixon also created the EPA, waged the war on cancer, ended American involvement in Vietnam, opened China, signed the first nuclear arms limitation treaty with the Soviets, and was re-elected in 1972 with a 49 out of 50 state victory. He had great flaws, but he also had great virtues and great accomplishments. This must never be overlooked.

Those were Democrat legislation that he signed. Democrats controlled both bodies of congress and Nixon only really cared about foreign policy and fighting communism. 🤔 🙄

@@slrtillareads3152 The EPA was actually created by President Nixon's executive order, and then ratified by the congress. The War on Cancer was legislation which came from the Congress, but Nixon made it one of his signature policies.

The press hated him since he proved them wrong that Hiss was in fact sympathetic to communism while in government. Since he got one of their own he was the enemy and when he beat Voorhis and Douglas for Senate he was the devil. Ironically the media couldn’t really touch him since he won 49 states yet gave them ammo to take him down

Trump's first two years at office were consumed with the Robert Muller witch-hunt and the Russia collusion conspiracy theory which was pushed forward by the Liberal media to smear and undermine the Trump presidency. No president in US history has ever been accused of being a Traitor to his own country besides Trump.
