I love how everyone on The West Wing seems to unanimously know that Allison Janney was the best out of them all. She’s such a versatile talent and seems so down to earth.

The West Wing had such a great cast that I find it very hard to choose a favourite but Allison is definitely in my top three.She must have been a joy to work with.

Thank you Richard for making the time and effort to actually *prepare* your tribute to Allison. So many people try to wing it/improvise for events like this and that rarely works. I particularly love the ending: she’s not just Ann-Margret, but also Meryl Streep, Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball, Lily Tomlin, Marilyn Monroe…. She is!! And in everything she does - including being herself, Allison - there’s such an HONESTY! She’s always so real!
