Mom has got to be one of the most underrated TV series of all time, it's an absolute gem...

Finally.. an actress who's not afraid to show that aging happens to us all! She's still as pretty as ever!!

Mom never should have been cancelled! The cast was fantastic and brought an important topic center stage in an entertaining and compassionate way. Another quality show bites the dust.

I still can’t believe the show was cancelled. It has heart, sarcasm, trials and errors. The ladies on the show are very talented and the chemistry is wonderful to watch. They should at least get a spin off if the name “Mom” can’t work. I wish Allison all the best and hope we see her again on tv.

Man I love her even more as a real person now I’m happy I watched this. “I’ve been wearing a wig since season one!”

Watching that, I realized I had never seen the real her when she wasn't in some character. I truly believe she is one of the most gifted actors of our time and I was sooooo excited that she won an oscar. Her character Bonnie on "Mom" is one of those that will stand the test of time.

So sad this show is over. The chemistry between Alison and the other women actresses was unbeatable! With so many people in 12 step programs, MOM was a great comedy for those people to identify with! I will be watching reruns in the future for years!

DAMN IT. I did NOT know the show was being cancelled. Crap. I LIVE for that show. Sad but true. I love ALL the actresses on it, and I love the stories. Why? Why would they cancel?

Not only an outstanding and gifted actress, she is a fantastic comedian. Janney is an especially gifted physical comedian. Not an easy thing to do.

I found “Mom” during a holiday trip last Dec 2020 and my husband and I binge watched it for the last 5 months. We have been dealing with a serious addiction crisis in our immediate family (one of our children) for the past 4 years and I can’t tell you how much this show helped to heal, set healthy boundaries and find hope when before I could barely get through most days. Thank you so so very much to the writers, actors, producers, and everyone else that had any part of this amazing series. You ripped the bandaid off a taboo topic that has haunted and destroyed so many people/families for decades. Addiction is real. Addiction is a family disease. And like Bonnie and the rest of her crazy friends proved, you can learn to live in recovery and be grateful. ❤️

Anytime i see that Allison Janney is going to be in something i automatically think that it's going to be something great. That's just how good she is. I absolutely love her.

My sister died in 2019 of alcoholism. We always watched the show. Even though she said she hated the show. I knew she was watching. I miss her and I miss the show.

After hearing about her brother, I can now see why Allison lives for the Bonnie character and was so good in that role.

I love Allison Janney in "Spy" in 2015 with Melissa McCarthy. Its still one of my top 10 favorite funny movies. Janney is hilarious as McCarthy's handler. She's got such a deadpan delivery of the funniest s--t.

For those of us who were (are) victims of addiction this show was a Godsend. It put a human face on the disease of addiction and how it can take over the lives of the most warm and charming people. I'm sure there were many of us while laughing at the masterful writing we also stopped to think "My God, I know the feeling, I've been there". Thank you Allison and all the crew of "Mom" , you will all be missed.

She's the reason that I keep watching the West Wing. Love every scene that she's in especially the ones with Josh and Donna. Can't even stop smiling as thinking about the episode "CJ's emergency root-canal and Josh taking over the press conference and Donna trying to help with the translation). She's the best CJ and the best Press Secretary that anyone could have dreamed of.

Interestingly I never stumbled across the show Mom until after its final episode. Now I'm so hooked I watch it every day and have access to the whole series on line. My first wife is an alcoholic, assuming she's still alive. That 10 yrs messed me up big time. How is it I laugh and cry at the same time through every episode.

One of my absolute favorites- she deserves everything wonderful!

I was stunned by her acting when she appeared in American Beauty in 1999. Her role as the almost catatonic wife of a retired Marine Colonel stole the movie from the more known players. I thought about it for days, which is something I rarely do with movies. She could have easily overdone the histrionics, but the underplayed performance made you ache for her pain and loneliness.

I have spent countless nights watching mom, its so soothing and comforting, 3 years sober! Thank you so much "Bonnie"!!!

I am sad that the show is ending .....i have been watching it since day 1 and it helped me during some tough times in my life ....i wish she would have said why she thinks the show is ending ....i think it would bring closure to a lot of people that the show helped !!!!!!! ( a Canadian fan)

I've watched since the very first episode of mom... Love love LOVE Allison... The entire cast is great. I loved when Anna Farris was there, BUT even with her leaving, I still would have watched for 20 more years & loved every episode!! My favorite Allison Janney is her role in Juno... She's hilarious as well as serious... Amazing woman, amazing show... Really sad to see it go...

Of course we're all sad Mom is ending in its 8th season, but I'm still looking forward to see something new in what Allison can do. Change might be scary, but it'll give her a chance to show some of her 'hidden' side.

She is a great actress,and i also have a "Bonnie" in my past lol! On the serious side ,my late mother was a drug and alcohol counselor for 30 years,and one of the last TV shows we watched together was the Mom where Bonnie goes to her mother's grave to forgive her

It is still hard for me to realize that Mom has been brought to an end. There must have been some major 'brawl' between Anna Faris and the CBS executives (we know how saintly they are) for her to walk off the show. Even Allison, here in this interview, is told not to discuss anything to do with it. Just more censorship keeping us ignorant or ill informed of what really happened. Anna and Allison together were pure magic and for the executives who let things go the way they did - you call yourselves professionals? You let a profitable show (for CBS) go. You ended a very well received show which had a large following. You ended one of the most quality shows on TV, for what? to make room for yet another reality TV show? And you call yourselves professionals. A high school student could have made a better decision than you did, of course you don't miss out on that big fat salary. This show had quality with great writing in company with Big Bang Theory and Frasier and a host of others PLUS, it has helped so many people who are dealing with addictions; using humor, separation of the addiction from the person, perseverance through extreme challenges, hope, light at the end of the tunnel (no, it's not an on coming train) and learning how to serve others selflessly. If there is anything we need now more than ever, I just touched upon the list. This show is a sitcom - yes, this show is a comedy - yes but it has been so much more. This show has served as therapy for so many. CBS has done us a great disservice by ending this show. A big THANK YOU to all of the cast for such a heartwarming association of friendship and family. Mom certainly could have continued for several more years to come.
