Many people first heard the term “behavioral economics” when Thaler, Chicago professor of behavioral science and economics, and co-author Cass Sunstein published Nudge in 2008. Thaler’s new book retraces the thinking behind that bestselling paradigm shift, showing how he came to understand human miscalculations not as negligible to, but instrumental in, markets and systems, from national budgets to household spending to NFL drafts.

Audience members need to limit themselves to asking questions. It's not an opportunity for them to give a speech. It's a Q and A, not a discussion. No further input is needed after you have posed your question. The event is not about you!

Are there any distinction between behavioural economics and psychology of mind? An experimental psychologist won a Nobel Prize for economics.

It’s essentially a hybrid field of economics and sociology & psychology. People from the fields are usually able to overlap with each other to varying degrees.

Psychology and Economics are the two end of a line... between with all Social Sciences falls Behavioural Economics is right in the middle of it, it feels like it's pure psychology but it explains the core of Economics and how to get it better with the help of the tools. There is no straight line, it's very blur abd thats the fun part
