The perfect example of a HoF quarterback. He remembered the opponent, the quarter, and time clock without any thought or hesitation. Brady and Manning have similar minds for the game.

That's great! I loved how the coach told the story the other day and to hear Steve give his perspective and add to it his experiences with his old coach is priceless. I'm not even a niners fan but I love the real life experiences of these celebrated but very real people. Great job Rich!

@@barnun4925 grew up a fan of the 70s Raiders, but haven’t rooted for them in over 20 years, game isn’t the same, players aren’t the same, most importantly the fans aren’t the same. I root for Tom Brady that’s about it

When it was said that this took place during a 49ers game in which they had a big lead I swear that I said "Guarantee it was against the Falcons." As a Falcons fan I saw many games that we were losing to the 49ers by a big margin.

Remember, Lee Corso called a timeout as head coach at Indiana when they scored a TD to take the lead against Ohio State. He had his picture taken with the scoreboard in the background to commemorate the event.
