@@brendanconnelly1835 As a former Browns fan, I can agree. AFC North is a tough division and even a good team like the Bengals can come in last, if Borrow is injured. I am really curious about the situation with Wilson and Fields. As good as the Browns team is, I doubt Watson will have a good season. So the 2nd position might fall to the Steelers.

It doesn't hurt Pittsburgh's salary cap if indeed Wilson has declined to the point where he's not a starter anymore. However, if he does play well, it's going to hurt even worse in Denver.

Russell Wilsons stats last season had ZERO difference than both his Super Bowl seasons, not to mention statistically match’s up with Lamar Jacksons MVP numbers… 26 touchdowns in the air and 3 on the ground for a total of 29 touchdowns is not a regression…. How many games would SIXTEEN extra touchdowns have made a difference in…. 🤔

As a Bengals fan the Steelers Defense is still solid, so he just needs to play well enough and not turn the ball over. If he does that they have a great shot at the playoffs again. Can't see them going far though

I love how so many are all in on Caleb Williams. Of course, the last four USC QBs to come out with hype were named Leinart, Barkley, Kessler & Darnold. The stain of those four names on Williams may be unfair, but it is there. Leinart & Darnold were especially hyped as "pro ready" during their final college seasons but their USC teams under achieved. Sort of like Williams' USC teams.

Pittsburgh has a better defense, a much better running game, Pickens is better than Sutton, an OC and head coach that want him there and run his type of offense. Pittsburgh had the worst qb in the league until the end of the season.

Atlanta will more likely make the playoffs. It has nothing to do with Russ or Tomlin. Its the division. It's a smaller leap for Atlanta to win the NFC South. They have the Saints, Bucs, and Panthers. Meanwhile, Steelers have Ravens, Bengals, Browns in the AFC North. Also Steelers only squeaked into post season last year as WC7 rank after Jags completely choked. There is a lot of competition for those WC spots in the AFC, so even being good may not get you a seat in the post season.

In regards to the "What's More Likely" questions, Rich gives the right answer at least sometimes, but today, Rich was boldly wrong about the first two questions. For example: the ATL Falcons very possibly won't qualify for a playoff spot because of their schedule, and because TB will very possibly be more dominant than last year. Also, PIT is one of the five super teams of the AFC, i.e. even if they don't add a high-ranking WR to their roster before the season begins. In regards to the offenses of ARI and CHI, I believe ARI will have the higher-ranking offense this year between the two. Right after the draft, I had CHI getting into the playoffs, but now I don't, and I have ARI in the playoffs instead.

Dalton Kincaid will outperform LaPorta this season. Almost all of Kincaid's production came in the 2nd half of the season after the Bills changed OC. Outgoing OC Ken Dorsey didn't know how to use him, new OC Joe Brady does. Also, without Diggs there is a 99% chance that Kincaid is Josh Allen's #1 target this season.

There is no way cousins is starting QB past week 6 and that’s generous. Fields is not an NFL QB, Russ had a good year last season with very, very limited weapons. Russ is fine.

Yeaaa no, if you watched russ play you’d realize how bad hes regressed. Rarely threw over the middle, would hold onto the ball way too long which caused a lot of sacks, and isnt as mobile as before. Russ was only good in the red zone and can still launch it, but any younger guy is better than him.

Absolutely, anybody who actually watched the games last year know Wilson didn't have a "good year" the dude cannot run an NFL offense on schedule and is not athletic enough anymore, as you say, to play his off schedule backyard game.

@RamsHouse99 his best days are behind him: 2018-2019: 66 TD 12 INT, 108 rating 2020-2021: 65 TD 18 INT, 104 rating 2022-2023: 42 TD, 17 INT, 92 rating Last year he was 21st in QBR and the year prior he was 27th. Before then he was a top 10 QB. He's not getting younger, his best days are behind him. He's getting the benefit of the doubt because his name and playing days in Seattle, but the reality is that he hasn't played like that in a while. He's still decent, but I can easily see Pittsburgh being a team being around 500, needing a spark and they'll turn to the younger more exciting QB rather than the aging one.

@@briansmith6325 Correct, he is blind to middle/ between the hashes routes, often gives up after the first read, hangs on and gets sacked, he was with Fields at the bottom of the league for time to throw, he has one of worst sack percentage rates, terrible fumble rate. People are just looking at the TD/INT ratio who are saying he played well, a deeper look and they would see he was bottom 5-7. All that and he's still an upgrade in Pittsburgh.

I think Kyler Murray is going to take the NFL by surprise this year in a good way. The Rams and 49ers better be looking back over their shoulder all season long. I'm a Lions fan and I don't think they'll have trouble with The Bears or Green Bay either one. That's not to say they won't be good teams but The Lions own the NFC North now and I don't see either of those teams posing a true threat to The Lions as long as the starters stay healthy during the season.

Russ Wilson has a better team around him except for a possible WR2. Steelers will have a better running game and defense. One TD more a game with Russ will mean at least 5 minutes more rest for the defense. Steelers have Queen in the middle. JPJ is a year more experience. I agree that Cousins will likely perform better than Russ. But Najee and Jaylen will put up 2,000 on the ground. And the Steelers Redzone will be astronomically better. Look for Freiermuth to be played as a wide out more.
