Wanna bet that broken bottle is STILL down there somewhere

It's still down there - along with a couple hundred more from the Fandangoistas that replay the scene every couple of years. www.ultimatefandango.com

No, with all the floods the Rio has done since then. Maybe some more recent bottles from re-enactors.

Surprised some illegals havent found it yet!

Probably! I wonder if people have searched. I'm sure there is actually plenty, as fans like to find the exact spot, and do the same thing, like the pizza thrown on the roof (Breaking Bad). No doubt if that movie were made today, environmentalist, and climate change bozos would be having a field day on what damage was done by tossing that bottle out like that. Kevin Costner would be cancelled, and we wouldn't have Dances with Wolves, or Yellowstone today. lol

I love that they bring the STILL passed out Groover, Lester with them and not even splashing champagne on him wakes him up. LOL!

Amazing. Big Bend National Park still looks the same! There is Old Mexico to the right of that river.

Oh thanks, I was gonna ask what I just heard.

@@SONOFABITCH Your right, I didn’t see that I was just reiterating. Thank you, thank you so much. It’s a honour to have these things pointed out to me being the way I am. Thanks again.

It's also in the video description. But thanks for reiterating what I both heard AND already read.

@@SONOFABITCH I put that statement from the video a year ago and was drunk at the time and responding in ( I know), an obvious way to a scene that I'm very much fond of. Please try to understand. I didn't mean it to be taken that way; you're upsetting me. Look, maybe well get through this, but lets forget it now. Theres more to life than scoring petty points on youtube.

@@SONOFABITCH yes, I see the funny point of what you were making now, oh my Lord. That’s good 😆🤣

I almost attempted to trammel down that rocky edge that Costner did, but my brother told me don't do it - too dangerous! I was in my fifties then, and not as agile as the younger Costner. And by the way, it looks far more dangerous and risky than what you see on the movie screen.

And he did it in slippery cowboy boots, too.

I could barely crawl out there when I made the pilgrimage. Can't believe Costner just jaunted to that ledge.

Yes. I’ve made my way VERY slowly out to that exact spot. I had a Shiner Bock long neck in my hand instead of Dom. I’m always amazed at the way Costner ran right out there. The danger is real.

Dang, the perch that Costner was leaping to looked pretty effin' dangerous! (that *was* Costner, right?)

Can't believe they drove 400 miles just to dig up a bottle of champagne, take I drink out of it, then toss it
@modernmilner98364 жыл бұрын
One of the definitions of Fandango, which the movie shows, is a foolish act. If you were lucky, you did such an act when you were young.
@jonesanrchy19803 жыл бұрын
@@modernmilner9836 I've done plenty of foolish acts when I was young. But never drove 400 miles just to go dig up a bottle of champagne. But then again Elvis used to fly to Denver just for grilled cheese sandwiches

Driven farther for less. But I also know that I am an idiot.

That rock is so far from anything. I’m really surprised they didn’t fake it in some easier-to-reach spot like Santa Clarita and send a second unit down there to get the establishing shot. I mean, that is the ass of nowhere. What could anyone possibly like about Texas??? I mean, other than the way it’s shaped. Obviously.

Were.. will be...but now, a sadness ... DOM ... the kingdom of heaven is as treasure hid in the field.... the field is the world... the world are they who do not belong to Christ ; the world are they who do not belong to the Israel of God. ... See, Ma 13, kjv.
