Liked episode 5 cause it shows Rick is able to pick up cues, and his support for Morty after being assaulted is just wholesome. Didn't wanna be there, but after learning what happened, was very supportive. Grandpa loves his Morty

Episode 6 is where Rick & Morty really begins.

Ep 5 I think is the first time you actually feel Rick cares a lot for Morty. He may be a fucked in the head kind of guy, but theres is actual compassion there. How Morty reacted and begged to go home hit me hard. I also quote "existence is pain" so so much. It is so interesting how from near the start they show the trauma affecting Morty, which explains what happens in later seasons

Episode 6 is definitely a "canon event" in Rick and Morty. The formation of Cronenberg Earth, and badass Jerry. The show will keep this split from their reality in continuity and it is actually somewhat important for the overall worldbuilding of the show which will start to unfold later this season

This episode was always so crazy to me, spent 6 episodes getting to know the family only for them to be left in the other reality while rick and morty enter a new one with a new family

I personally belive Morty isnt coming to terms with if this reality is anything like his, but the fact that this reality is exactly identical hes coming to understand how much his life really matters in yhe grand schemes of things, there are infinite timelines, infinite families, infinite versions of him. that would be rather unsettling to think about

Ok, so as someone who's a retired chef/purchasing manager after many years in the business I can explain why the menu thing happens. The reason they start pointing out items on the menu instead of handing you the menu first is for 3 main reasons. 1. its to push certain items we are overstocked with, 2. It's the chef's special (which can actually net the chef more money for every meal sold.) 3. its a way for the waiter/waitress to get more face time with the customers in the hopes of a better tip. People find it harder to leave a shitty tip after getting to know their server. While it sucks for you, it can suck for us more if its not done. Hope this help alleviate future frustration. EDIT: I should add that for chain restaurants its a bit different. They push certain items because corporate demands it due to certain obligations they might have with other companies and/or suppliers.

That song in the end is the most saddest song and part of the episode. I just love all of the soundtrack of Rick and Morty, they got songs from happen, wild, chill and sad.

I still never understood why Rick didn’t save the og family and take them all to the other reality it still never made sense to me but I guess it was to make it have more of an impact that Morty had to deal with that so early

Aside from the brutality I've always enjoyed the scifi aspect of R&M the most that left a void when Futurama was "finished." The fun part is R&M does play some fun themes to think about like for the Jelly Bean one, is it best to reveal the truth and see the inevitable falling out or keep the lie when things have benefitted from that lie.

I’m Mr Meeseeks! Look at me! Also, Rick basically understanding exactly what happened as soon as Morty came back from the bathroom crying is one of my favorite things about his character. He’s a selfish asshole most of the time, but he’s observant as shit and he really does care when it comes down to it.

In a way, "Meeseeks and Destroy" is the quintessential Rick and Morty episode.

And here we get Cronenberg Jerry, so far the best and most badass version of Jerry.

Mr Meeseeks see live as a pain, no they literally feel pain the more time they are alive. There is a Mr Meeseeks who is on this episode that in the comics he has live more than any Mr Meeseeks (which is like 2 or 3 years I don’t really remember) and he is evil.
