It's sweet how accurate birdperson's perception of Rick is to the extent that the two versions say things at the same time.

Funny how the younger memory of Rick from bird person wanted to live until he realized he may turn out just like the older version of himself and dislikes him so much he decides he would rather remain as a distant memory.

I just realized that the two Rick's voices sound slightly different not by much but they don't have that gruffness in the younger one

its kind of funny but also sad that memory Rick is actually super uncomfy becoming his future self. he really was super different and you can tell that seeing what he became and not knowing everything that led to it scares him and he doesn't want to be that I mean mood, tho.

This is curious. Now it makes sense what Mister Nimbus said about how Rick used to be when he was young. He really was different.

35 y.o Rick doesn't like who he becomes but little does he know all the shit that he has yet to go through and our Rick has gone through which is why our Rick is the way he is. The classic example of how Time take a toil on you more than just physically... Is what I learned from this episode.

Actually, memory Rick wouldn't necessarily become real Rick. Memory Rick has a different personality and different memories than real Rick did at his age. Also, memory Rick, from the point he met real Rick, had different experiences. My hope is that memory Rick will join up with Space Beth and they fight the Federation and other similar enemies together.

After the season finale, I just realized that when they make the "free will joke," they are literally talking about the Curve, in that literally everything is in Rick's control.

Who else thinks Memory Rick should come back? He was pretty cool, and deserves more story.

Younger Rick's worry that he will end up like Rick is probably unfounded. Younger Rick is a Rick based on BirdPerson's perspective of Rick, so it's not like a perfect copy, especially since their memories of life differ. But I also think it's possible and likely that BP remembers Rick as a better person than he actually is.

Can we talk about how when 35 year old Rick made the portal at the beginning and tried to go through it but failed he looked at 70 Rick like "It doesnt work. Why it not work? 🥺"

I think it'd be kind of cool to see where Rick could have gone with his future, having seen what his future would be.

Despite not knowing certain things about his tech and human culture he still knows exactly how Rick acts and thinks because hes been his friend for so long.

I like that in the end memory Rick decides not to live based on the fact that he would become like Rick. It shows he still enjoys the idea of being his own person. Before the citadel of Rick's, our Rick loved being himself more then anything. It shows that he only chose to find other Rick's becuase he was tierd of the multiverse being easy. He thought having other Rick's would challenge him, but he realized it just became like everthing else, easy. Memory Rick fears become like every other Rick just as much as our Rick does. It shows that BP really knew a lot about Rick, more then Rick knew about himself. BP knew what Rick's life would lead to, so it makes a lot more sence now why BP didn't want to follow Rick's path. He knew it would lead to something more diabolical then the Galactic Federation. Our Rick knows that now also. I think it's why this time Rick was ok with BP leaving, he grew a lot in this episode and learned that he is to blame for his own problems. Morty choosing to help Rick in the season finale gave Rick a lot more hope then Morty realizes. It shows in the way he speaks to him after. I feel like Rick now has more respect for Morty now, even if in the new season, he doesn't show it.

Its fucking scary how his own memories can become sentient. So even without parallel timelines there is a timeline where they are capable of spontaneously becoming sentient and real. Every memory is its own being.

A sentient memory is something I never would have ever once thought of. But also, 2:41 I feel like a lot of cartoon villains became villains because no one told them that.

This has to be one of the most unique story lines of the whole series. There's not a lot of content out there where your younger self in a sense gets to meet you and see what he turns into. The cool thing is this has nothing to do with time travel. I'd love to see more of this younger Rick in future episodes.

I love the love-hate relationship between Rick and Memory Rick.

Basically, Present Rick is avoid trying to reliving the worst moments of his life (such as the lose of his family, becoming a killer and betraying most of friends) to avoid the pain and fear of being lost and alone in big multiverse like this. Which is why he keeps running away and dimension jumping.
