Thanks for tbe tip on the hardware...but no i don't believe hinderer has the best tolerances at least not when compared to other brands. I may chamge my opinion once I swap out the bearings for phosfer bronze washers but as it sits my We knives seem to have tighter tolerances than this himderer.

And no I tried doing exactly that the plate did not pop right out. They even told me at the wherehouse that they found it difficult to remove themselves so they replaced it entirely for me.

@@H20cofilmandphoto2112it was a total lightbulb moment. Appreciate the honest review. I personally think hinderer is so popular because they give you the ability to customize. I just swapped all my hardware for battle bronze on an all battle black 3.5. It’s kind of fun. Every hinderer can be totally unique and not many companies let you do that. But I will say if your not in to spending money and collecting, the ZT crushes it. The ergos on my 0562 are an awesome hybrid of my Jurassic but bigger and the tolerances I have to admit are better. I admit I’m a fanboy but that includes all of them including ZT. Kind of like Emerson. The ZT Emerson’s are light years better than the actual Emerson’s.

@floridaman727 I agree 100% I love the blade myself I just didn't understand the hype but I do think your accurate about the ability to customize the blade and I also think that 10 years ago it would have been cutting edge but these days with the advancements in machining across the board I just feel like there are so many great options that hinderers just aren't the level of elite that they used to be. Plus I've heard through the grapevine that the maker Rick is a giant dick. But again that's just what I've heard. Funny you should comment today I just held a zt hinderer design about an hr ago and its far better built then my hinderer so....yeah I can tell the difference and hinderer definitely needs to up his game if he expects to continue to charge the prices he does and that's a shared opinion of many just go into some forums you either have chuckle head fan boys who would kiss Rick's ass if they could and then you have everyone else that thinks there overpriced like a mofo. @@SixArmedPriest To be clear I have about 25 knives in my collection and my xm18 is my favorite and my best. I even prefer it over my Dave Curtis F3. But I don’t consider myself a fan boy, especially regarding Rick’s character or his company’s customer service. However all upper production and mid tech knives are too expensive but XM 18 is no more so than the rest. It’s mostly about the high quality materials and the hottest, latest super steel. I hope I didn’t say to much for you.

Thanks for the view and the comment super helps my channel in the algorithm and I felt the same way about the sabenza probably why I got the inkosi instead. It's a much better blade. It's funny there are 2 groups of people when it comes to hinderers chucklehead fanboys who think he makes the best knives in the world and then there are the rest of us that just don't see the value especially when u can buy a zt that is made just as well if not to better qc standards and cost half the price. I'm pretty sure I know which group u fall under. Regardless of anyone's opinions and trust me I've heard many from both sides of the argument mine stands the same. It's a great knife but I will never see the value in the price tag for what you get especially when there are better knives like the Harsey folder available in the same range

@ModernSurvivalSense I have two spartan Harsey folders and an Inkosi that are all in my eyes worth the 550 price tag so I understand the value of the materials and US manufacturing just fine I just also know value when I see it and I never said that the hinderer wasn't a good knife I just said in contrast to say the Harsey folder or even the crk inkosi isn't there for me, it's a half titanium handle as apposed to full titanium anodizing on my others. As well as many other reasons I believe it's not worth the price. Again not saying it's a bad knife but I feel people put a lot of the intrinsic value in the ability to customize their hinderers and for me, that's not worth much. So as far as pure bang for your buck I doubt even you could deny that there are better options out there.... but I take that back as you don't seem like a very open-minded person. more so you sound like someone that doesn't know how to have any type of debate without becoming a complete ass hat and as Socrates said "A man that can not debate without emotion entering his argument is a fool that shouldn't be spoken to to begin with, for they'll never actually hear anything but there own voice." The fact is you're arguing an opinion....as in not a fact, an outlook or a view or belief someone personally holds regardless of situational bias or actual truth. So I'm fairly certain that quote suits you very well. The fact that you feel so strongly about your opinion that you've taken this much time out of your day to help my video out is nothing but a great thing for me. It's very.funny t9 me how people get thos idea in there head about something and once there minds made there's nothing that can change it! I don't hate my xm 18 by any means, hell it's a great knife.
