In this interview, Rick Rule and I discuss some silver stocks, and Rick Rule gives his personal opinion on these silver stocks. Just remember what he said, “I can leverage off the speculation of less experienced speculators.,” what that means is get more people into silver and he can sell out . Rick Rule unplugged is such a joy to watch. I have historically loved his consistent and clear commentary, but now add in the candid and the more personal and it is a whole new wonderful world. Retirement (AKA freedom) looks and sounds good on Rick Rule. :)

That was a gold mine! Pun intended. Rick has been unfairly criticized online about not being forthcoming or speaking in riddles and metaphors. Well, he was pretty damn direct. His response to Discovery and Adriatic was priceless If you were a reporter AA, you would have the scoop of the year. Great job! It’s important, regardless of what YOU know, to let the guest do the majority of the talking and answer the questions or provide the information. This interview was highly “entertaining.” I have a few new entertainment ideas to explore. Having said that, I respectfully demand a good source to check for Discovery metals! Really great stuff AA👍🏾

@@ResourceTalks My takeaway was that I need to learn more about silver stocks. I find it very useful to get Rick's opinion on specific silver stocks. I was, and still am to a degree, skeptical that silver is going up significantly in the short-term. I prefer to wait for the bull market in silver to start before I commit a signficant portion of my portfolio to silver. Of course when and if that happens I need to be prepared and know which stocks are best for my purposes.

Agreed! This is valuable information that’s never taught in the education systems or I’d have been able to start decades ago and might have had a better financial experience. The markets were always discussed in a very negative light. It’s so refreshing to hear the truth being brought out by people with real world experience. I’d be up for an all day “Rick Rule Q&A educational equity market seminar.” The man is an absolute genius and the way he lays out the information in easy to understand dialogue is pure gold.

@@ResourceTalks I watched a ton of Rick Rule interviews but everytime little nuances were added; in this video I got actually more glimpse of what he is actually holding and a few infos on WHY. My takeaways are: look for risk-adjusted-NPV (okay that is probably a general thing to do) and focus more on fundamentals. But I think this works only for already operating larger companies. For smaller companies and explorers it requires geological knowledge to even have a rough idea if a project is just hot air or a real candidate. Here comes the issue: it requires alot of domain-knowledge and time that you probably only can spent as a full-time professional. For me its hard to distinguish good from bad explorers/developers as it feels like al companies get hyped

I fully endorse what Rick said about the Russian coys. The only problen is that they are SO attractive they are all being bought out (and taken private). Of my 3 biggest LSE gold coys (Polymet, Highland Gold, Trans Siberian Gold), only Polymet survives - the other 2 have been bought out at opportunistic lowball prices.Oh well, very good dividend payers while owned and a capital profit at takeober - but the big bucks go to the new owners.

@@ResourceTalks right now the structure of the chart seems to me pretty much the same like 2010 plus if the silver price goes higher the coming month I think people will buy into the narrative of Aurcana having a huge silver deposit in the ground, wich is maybe actually true and they want to go into production (as far as I know) and that's why I hold it. I would love to get some true experts opinion additional to the whole story, kind regards guys!!

Great interview. Love Ricks take on everything. I agree the big royalty companies are way over priced and most pay a insignificant dividend. If you have a 85% margin, you better be paying me more than 1-2% dividend. That’s nuts.

Well, that's the current yield, you're referring to. In a bull market, if these stocks go up, and the companies keep their 2% dividends, your yield on cost could be much higher. That has happened to me in other bull markets, where I now hold the most-stable company in the industry, at it pays me a 25% yield on cost (it was an MJ REIT, btw).

@@ResourceTalks can’t argue that. I’m in VLO at $28. Except it’s paying me more than 4x that dividend. I struggle with what are the royalties doing with the all that FCF? But you have some of the miners paying small dividends and their margins are a 1/4 of the royalties. I’ve been in physical PMs for 30 years, but I’ve only been in the PM stock space for 14 years. Bought Always played it safe with the big names. Really enjoy Ricks info tho. I’m re-evaluating many of my holdings after hearing this chat. Keep up the great work. We all depend on people like yourself getting people like Rick sharing his decades of knowledge. Oh and by the way. Reyna is a big holding of mine. I may rethink that after Ricks comments. I’m probably a little to aggressive on some of my exploration plays. Thanks again.

@@robertkoehler1641 I was thinking the same about re-evaluating Reyna. It’s been big on my wishlist but after hearing Rick’s take on it I don’t think it’s still as high on my list as before.

Rick is by far my favourite investor I love how rational he is. That's how I made alot of my money last year was just being rational. Calinex mines and sandstorm gold are juniors I like alot.

Yes, superb video, with the best guy available! But if u ask for more silver stocks to discuss: What about Hecla Mining and Coeurs, who was once second largest silver miner? What about some names of russian miners (he mentioned Polymetal, ok, but a little more than dropping the name would be nice.) Of course this would be an other video, this one was so full of information. What about Asian mines?

Hi Antonio I really enjoy your show and Rick Rule is a wealth of knowledge. Regarding Gatos Silver could you ask him what went wrong here, we here talk about the penny dreadfuls and to watch out for them. But this stock has the tier 1 blessing by investors we all admire and listen to, can you ask Rick to shed light on this matter I know that he also has been effected. Keep up the good work. Thanks!

Good interview and rich of information. I have a important Q. If a company have huge debts but have a lot of supply of silver, will that company stocks raise in value when silver price goes bullish?

Good question, and thank you for the kind words. It is hard to predict the future like that. Generally, a company and its stock are not necessarily related on the secondary market. I've seen much worse companies' stocks go up. So, anything could happen.

@@ResourceTalks With Fresnillo there are political headwinds including local violence in the region. Mexico is not a stable place like Canada or Australia. This is probably why the stock is currently strongly discounted.

I sent some gold/silver companies across to Rick recently, he rated Polymetal a 3. When I look at the balance sheet, FCF and dividends I’m stocked at the price you can get it at.

I think the debt might be weighting the company down. Almost 1.5B in debt, on about a 6B market cap is not a joke. Nonetheless, I do like the thesis behind it. What are your main concerns with it, though.

BABY Investments main concerns would be jurisdiction and the debt levels for me. I love listening to Rick and his opinion on Russia as a jurisdiction swayed my opinion on avoiding companies in that area. Debt levels are high but seeing the company consistently meeting targets and growing rapidly made me slightly less concerned. On a slightly different topic, Goviex is down 23% today. I’m looking for a reason for this, but can’t see one. I like the company and was looking for an entry point. Do you have idea what caused the drop?

I'm not invested in Silver One at the time of recording, and I'm also not looking to buy any shares soon. This does not mean the stock won't go up, it means I've already laid my eyes on what I want, and that company is not among them. What do you like about it?

Love the statement @ 45:00 in I too love companies others find "boring" learned a long time ago, it is easy to get rich, but hard to stay rich" in turn "It is hard to become wealthy (takes time and patience) but far easier to stay wealthy" Solid unloved companies that actually make $$ and are solidly growing that are undervalued builds wealth with very little downside as there is always downside, popular companies that "may" if everything and I mean everything go perfectly well (100 things usually) and one wrong thing can wipe them out the downside is too risky and usually ends with investors being wiped out 99 go broke where one becomes a winner I like 99 winners out of a 100. Investors these days haven't a clue and should keep their resumes updated because they will need it.
