Great video Rick, I’ve never pressed a modern book before, is there any additional preparation for pressing because of that little sticker for the digital copy? I heard those can leave a mark.

I press modern and use either cardstock or these plastic inserts I made from cutting a folder. I place one on both sides of the sticker page and it works. I do not know if CGC cares about the sticker imprint on other pages but I don’t like it.

I never use the silicon and haven't had issues. Have you had damage without?

Where do you get the chamfered pressing board? I have trouble getting out spine tics.

I press a ton of modern books. For a bend like that I’ll use a steam gun and leave in 800 seconds at 150. That’s a pretty bad bend might take multiple presses honestly
