“I got a Mickey from Ricky” 😂. I always wanted to be so engrossed in a book that i would dip my chips into cold cream instead of dip 😂 Whether Lucy got the Mickey or not evading a murderer is exhausting. Of course she was tired 😂

I was part of an art studio. Students were given free coffee and buttered bagels. Students brought their coffees to their studio desks instead of drinking in the kitchenette. Many times erred by placing their brushes to clean in their coffee instead of the water cups as so intense completing their art pieces. So there you are!

Never concluded NO one drank the drug; also never saw Riccardo misspelled on the banner; definitely a blooper episode perhaps it was their first filming. Great observations as usual Rick!!

You just have the eye!! As I have said multiple times in the past, as a child these were totally my go-to jam. I saw the salad dressing episode 36 times, easily. But I have never seen even half of the BLOOPERs you that you have. It's always such a joy to watch your shorts about the BTS stuff. Engaging and informative, every single time!!

@@ricknineg Hey Rick, I just noticed another blooper in the "Gilligan's Island" Season 2 "Beauty Is As Beauty Does" when Gilligan gets tripped by the Professor he lands in sand and a cigarette butt is uncovered which is quickly covered by Gilligan's hand as he is preparing to stand up. Just hoping it's something you also noticed. And in the Astronaut Sol episode the Skipper tossed his drink that the Howells had brought for the Professor, Gilligan and the Skipper to drink as they try to dig out the Capsule that landed in the Lagoon. It's supposed to be made out of Bamboo but breaks like ceramic! Love your shorts on the Classics! Keep them coming..

Hey Rick, I love these Lucy Blooper videos!!! I've seen this episode a zillion times & never noticed that Ricardo was misspelled!!!! You have an eagle eye when it comes to finding Bloopers. This is exactly the episode I was thinking of when I saw the thumbnail on Patreon last night!!! Thanks for sharing another fun video!!! 👍👍

Have you noticed Vivian Vance (Ethel) loses her "gun" in the episode, "Lucy is Envious" episode, where Lucy and Ethel play Women From Mars? At first it is in her belt and then it is on balcony of the Empire State Building. Lucy and Ethel share the same gun.

I don't remember watching this episode wow didn't know it was full.of bloopers wow I probably would have never noticed the bloopers as I usually miss them when I'm watching shows however I'm not usually looking for bloopers but a lot of times I don't catch the bloopers always have a good eye Rick for bloopers always count on you to point them out and notice them cool a lot of bloopers back in the day on Lucy thanks Rick 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Rick! Did you notice that the sofa in the Ricardo's apartment changed early in the series (even before Lucy gets new furniture)? Do you know when set director switched the sofa? What episode was the first to "premiere" the new sofa?

Good observation. Also in this episode, many decorations arent even on the walls and things are missing. The sofa seemed to small so I’m glad they put in another

Great video! I noticed the sign, but never saw the electrical pole out the bedroom window. I also saw the wall blooper, and did notice the glass blooper lol.

I did notice the end of the wall and saw their bedroom. Never noticed the misspelled name. I always try to follow the glass with the sedative on it yet never succeeded in figuring out who actually got it. This blooper video 📹 was interesting. Thanks Rick!

Hey Rick, one thing I've noticed from watching clips of I Love Lucy. As time progressed. Ethel Mertz's wardrobe improved. She went from dowdy to very stylish. Not too stylish as to overshadow Lucy's style, but still, not too shabby. Ethel was wearing a style of clothing I'm sure Fred would have grumbled about paying for. Comparing Lucy's and Ethel's styles of clothing throughout the series would be an interesting subject to dive into.

Rick.. so many of these shows were on a tight budget, so the shot of the bedroom from the living room was probably noticed in post production-- but was so brief, the discussion of doing a "pick-up" to correct it, was out of the question. I've seen these bloopers in many 50's - 60's TV shows, like "Hazel." They just roll-on, and dismiss it, as the casual observer (then) would not notice it. Didn't know about the 4-camera shoot in this one! It was filmed 5 years before I was born! GREAT job as always.

Bloopers:. I loved watching her. This was great telling us about the 4 camera and all the shots. I want to see all of them. You told us so much about the first and forth one. That loveseat was so small wasn't it? I watched re-runs. If this aired in 1953, I wasn't here yet. I'm the baby of 6 kids, to keep me quite, mom let me watch Lucy after school. I use to want to be her. I am a nut like she was on her show's. Tks a million for showing these to us.

I don't know how you catch all the bloopers. I find that I can pick up some continuity errors in shows put nothing to compare to you. Keep the videos coming. Bloopers are a favorite of mine.

Excellent video. I did not know about these bloopers and I have the entire series on DVD and I have watched the series many times. It's fascinating to me to learn the history of these iconic shows such as the different camera setup used in this episode and how they learned from the experience and improved the production process. I thought for sure there would be mention of the ending scene, before Lucy walks in, you hear the dog trainer repeatedly commanding the dog to jump on the chair by it’s real name, “Corgi”, not one of the female names on the list, nor “Theodore”.

I did notice the blooper where the camera went to far over showing their bedroom. I knew no one drank the sedative and thought Lucy was faking passing out thinking she was dying. But ya, why would she if she never drank it. This story not thought out the greatest back then lol but still a very great episode regardless! I never did notice the misspelling of Ricardo. Thanks for a great video.

The Riccardos was supposed to live in a 4 floor multi family brownstone house on 623 East 68th street, an address that does notmexist , but there is a 423 East 68th street. I am a New Yorker who grew up in NYC.

I did realize long ago the mistake in the switching cups and I always wondered why Ethel yawned but never thought about contagious yawns for some reason. I’d always missed the lighting rig, and even as I have been rewatching them all again this year it never stood out to me. I’d mention the keyword to try and win the prize but I have the entire show on DVD already so it wouldn’t be fair. I’ll let the others have a chance. Great job as always Rick!

It's amazing there weren't more bloopers when they made these shows. I wonder how many bloopers were even spotted when they originally aired? Being so digitized now, things seem to pop out a lot more. Still fun to watch.
