We visit Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama -America's oldest baseball park- during the annual throwback baseball game, the Rickwood Classic.

I remember going to a game here when I was a kid maybe 7-8 years old barons versus the biscuits and it got rained out 1st inning it was a bummer but I’ll never forget the throwback experience!

America oldest ball park is Centennial field in Vermont it was opened in 1906

Centennial Field was built as a university ballpark. Rickwood was built for the Barons, a professional team, hence why Rickwood Field is called the oldest "professional ballpark" in the Country. Also pretty much the whole wooden design burned and the park was rebuilt entirely with a new design in 1922

@@HardlineSoulI have seen The Birmingham Barons former home the Hoover Met Stadium and I live near it.😅😊
