Love the way you teach, not tunes but techniques that make sense and can be used to play either rhythm or lead the style we as individuals can use in each style we desire. Well done Ricky, what a brilliant person you are to share this with us all.

Great Video, Ricky! I found out about that system by myself just by asking the right questions about pentatonic: What does "penta" mean? Which are these 5 notes (spoiler alert: it's 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7)? Where are these notes on the fretboard? Is there a repeating pattern? How does the B-String affect this pattern? I even did my own YT Video about it, although I'm neither a real guitarist nor a KZfaqr, because I couldn't find this simple explanation on YT. That system has to be taught more often!!! It's way easier than CAGED or position based attempts to master the fretboard. Once you understood this simple pattern ( 2 + 3 notes) you can "find your way home" to the root note from everywhere on the neck. I really love your way of teaching, Ricky. Keep going! A small correction though to your major pentatonic diagram in 7:47 : The root ist on the "leg" on the 5th fret, not on the 7th fret.
