Glad this helped! It's a nice short rulebook, but I found it lacked some clarity in a few places too. That can be the problem with trying to keep rules short sometimes.

Yeah, it's almost there! I cheat sheet a lot of games and most the content is pertinent to the game and being written into my cheat sheet; the rule sheet just needed a few diagrammed examples :-)

Are you remembering to remove your passenger from the board after they've travelled? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oNKVhZiBsdq5aXU.html You couldn't have a passenger travel back and forth repeatedly along the same tracks. It would have to be a different passenger each time.

I get these checked over by the designer and publisher to help avoid mistakes before they go out, so I'm reasonably confident I have this correct. Could you quote what you read in the rules?

Sure thing: “Finally, add the total number of Links traveled through for the entire journey and add 1. This is the number of cities visited, including the starting and ending cities.”

@@christopherdesmond7511 He got it right -- the tracker for cities visited is set on space 1 so it already accounts for the starting city :)

@@WatchItPlayed I was sure once you'd started a line on the East coast, it couldn't enter another starting city hex and black trains started on the West Coast like purple. Either way I'm happy. I think I prefer these rules!

Andrew Cleverley East coast trains can enter other east coast starting cities, following hex occupancy rules and starting city occupancy limitations.

Haven't tried it at two, but I suspect that player count is set at 3 for a reason.

If so, there aren't rules included in the game for it.

Variant was suggested online where each player plays two colors and the lower score is their final score. Haven’t played it so I can’t say if it is good or not, but it should be playable.

Yeah I like the clarity over the chance of it being prettier and harder to read.

It's not the number of pages, it's the density. I can fit 20 pages of rules on 2 pages with the right font size :)
