@@princejackson5601 Yeah it was an adventure! 😂😂 I was a teenager back then and we were a group of teens from different countries so…let’s just say all of us were NOT prepared for anything so..we were all freezing (or thirsty during the hike during the day because we had no water with us🙄😂😂)!! 😂😂😂 And since there are bears, we were told to lock up ALL food items into the ”bear box” outside and NOT take ANY food into the tent because the bears can smell them so it’s dangerous. When we woke up in the morning, this Spanish girl from our group pullls out a candy bar and all of us were like 😳😳😳 ”Did you have that in here the whole night?!!!!!!!” 😳🙀😩😩 And she was like ”Yeah! In case I got hungry at night!” 😂😂😂😂 I guess we were lucky that no bears were around that night!! 🙀😂😂😂 (I mean…we didn’t find it funny then but it makes me laugh now because…like I said…talking about all of us being dumb and totally unprepared…*facepalm* 🙄😂😂😂) Sri Lanka was amazing though. We travelled with locals and they were the nicest people I’ve ever met! ❤️ Still friends with and in contact with a couple of them and they came to visit me here too! They had organized a team management camp for us and we slept in tents in the jungle and we went on hikes where we’d walk across rivers with water up to our waist or walk in the rice fields with water and mud up to our ankles or we’d get up early in the morning to go kayaking on the lake and it was just amazing!!!😍 THAT was a real adventure. Amazing, beautiful…but also sad and heartbreaking and such a learning experience at the same time. We went after the tsunami so it was hard to see all the devastation and so many people left with absolutely NOTHING. Made one realize what really matters in life. All one needs is a bed to sleep in, food to eat, family and friends…everything else is extra. Nice to have but not necessary. We visited refugee camps and since I’m a nurse, I helped out at the clinic in one village…Such an experience…when you have no tools..not even bandages..the meds all expired…It just makes you wish you could do more. 🙏🏻🥲 We also realized there how vital it is to talk to people you are trying to help to find out WHAT they really need!! What WE think is what they need the most may not be the case at all so to use donations wisely and to get them REAL help, you need to know what they REALLY need and what problems they are having and how to solve them. And to buy things locally to support the local businesses and economy, not import stuff if possible. Such a valuable lesson in charity work!! And such a life lesson too…you TRULY learned what it means to be grateful! 🙏🏻❤️

The principal is the same but there’s much less weight on the bike. I think it feels safe to use engine braking, but if you want to go fast downhill it’s all brakes🏍️😃
