I grew up in Canada my entire life but didn’t know much about Michael Jackson. I mainly watched Hong Kong kung fu dramas. Beat It was always one of my favourite songs growing up even until now it hasn’t lost my interest. Only a few years ago when I was feeling very depressed, I started to think about what times I was happiest and what things (songs, movies etc) that use to make me happy. So I started looking up music videos from older singers like Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul, Maria Carey…that’s when I realized so much rumours this talented man has to live through and all the hardships you kids had to endure. I’m so happy to see that all his kids are doing well. He has really done a great job raising you all. And you are doing an awesome job continuing his legacy of helping the world.

Okay… Prince! Here’s a memory lane now while I’m 34. I swear, idk if I dreamt this!!! But I remember going to Disneyland when I was like 7 or 8? First grade. And there was a line, I wasn’t sure if it was Space Mountain with the moving chairs and then going on the ride after? But I swear I remember your dad and it was my favorite memory…. It was the Captain Eo movie! I swear I thought I actually met him in person live! 😂 but that one album he sang in “You’re just another part of me…..” was the song I remember in that movie. I just came upon the movie and I swear, many I’ve spoken to think I’m delusional 😂 but there was Hooter eating the map, and Anjelica Huston as the bad leader. Almost reminding me of a 5th element movie! But that was how I remembered your dad was when I was 7 or 8! It’s like, you were dreaming it but it was so real! I thought I was the coolest person ever seeing that!
