I trust your judgment, but I sure hope you give that little girl, Nyx, a solid chance. The best hound I ever had was a bit of a slow-starter and developed pretty slowly. Then one fine day, things just clicked and she turned into one helluva track dog and was really accurate. Of course, I was a "late bloomer" myself, so I guess you can't really go by me. I'm partial that way.
