I live in ALABAMA turkeys have disappeared where I live all the trees have been cut out nothing but pine desert I use to get a turkey ever season within 300 yards of my house and leave others alone since the hardwoods have been cut off I ha not heard a turkey in 5 years the habitat is gone so are the turkeys

Hunte the evening a few weeks ago and had a long beard come walking in to roost and I moved the gun to get on him as he walked behind a tree. Well, he took flight from there and roosted 40 yards from me. Sat there watching him look at me until it got dark enough to walk out. Unfortunately, I couldn't hunt the next morning. That's turkey hunting.

Great hunt. Typical mountain bird. They love to slip up to the rise and try to parascope you without showing too much. Killed a swamp bird here in Virginia on Friday. Hope to kill a mountain bird in a couple of weeks. Keep the great videos coming.
