If you can't buy it, you should make it! This week it's time to honor one of our perhaps favourite witches, Hermione Granger!
Her wand is very intricate at the same time simplistic. It was fun and challenging at the same time, we hope you'll enjoy!

Things you'll need:
Super glue
Metal rod (I use a barbecue skewer)
Pliers
Sculpting tools
Polymer clay (preferably black/brown)
Acrylic paint (used black, brown, white, orange and some red)
Brush
You'll need a oven to bake the clay. Had it in the oven at 110°C for 30 min each time, but make sure to bake the clay according to instruction on the package.

Thank you so much! haha well thank you, my hair is pretty thin, but I try to push it all forward in videos :) And I cut my hair myself, so sometimes the fringe is a little bit all over the place :')

I discovered your channel just few days ago and I must say I love all your réalisations they are amazingly well done, î ´ ve always avoided poly clay, thinking it would be difficult , and how to bake it.. really I thought it wasn't easy but you explain it all so well it becomes ok to try even for someone like me . i made a few ones, they're nice but always did with air drying modeling polyclay. It's hard to find a good wand diy in french so since I am french I try my best and usually i don't have problems with English but when it comes to out of usual conversation I ´ m always a little affraid with temperatures but you give it in Celsius and you give centimeters instead of inches, so thank you so much!!! And by the way love your house tour, amazingly it looks a lot like my home, the snakes in bottle too. 😁. Î hope you ´ ll keep on making theses great videos.

This is amazing! I'm getting married next year, just a small thing, forty guests and wanted to make a wand for each of them. Was going to get Chopsticks and use a glue gun but these are so good... Maybe ill make most glue gun way and then a few for fave people this way!! You're ridiculously talented

I wanted to ask how long did you put the wand in the oven? And how long did you make this wand? And cool video!

I usually bake them a couple of times, so for each time it was in the oven it was 30 minutes at 110c :) I am really bad at keeping track of how long it takes to make them, as we are using a bit of time to make sure everything looks good for the camera etc :') but I would guess the wands takes anything from 3-5 hours including the baking time :) And thank you!

Would I be able to use a chopstick as the base of my wand instead of a metal prong-?

I think that should work fine as long as the chopstick is a non-plastic one :) You might want to lower the temperature a little bit and bake it for a little longer instead.
