If you can't buy it, you should make it! This week it's time to get more familiar with the chosen one, we're making Harry Potter's wand!

Things you'll need:
Sculpting tools (spatulas, ball-point tools and razor blades)
Polymer clay (preferably black/brown, I'm using Fimo by Staedtler)
Acrylic paint (used ochre yellow, brown, green, white, red and black)
Brushes
A sponge with large holes (You can use filter sponges for aquarium pumps)
Toothbrush
You'll need a oven to bake the clay. Had it in the oven at 110°C for 30 min each time, but make sure to bake the clay according to instruction on the package.

hehe, yeah the last period has been very hectic so we've been unable to produce as often as we like, but I am glad you stuck around and waited! Actually my first wands before youtube was with LED and circuits, so I totally know how to do it, I'll think about including it in one of the videos :)

I think your wand DIYs are honestly amazing ! I wanted to ask if you could also show how to make a box for them (like the Olivander's boxes). Also if someone knows which wand would be the easiest to start with as a DIY, I would be really happy to know, as I would like to try one myself but I don't want do start with the hardest :)

Your attention for detail and dexterity are amazing! This is the best wand tutorial I've seen! I'm just wondering, when you put it in the oven for 30 mins, do you just place it right in as is? Or lay it on some sort of tray (lined? unlined?)

After putting the acrylic paint, do you seal/varnish the paint when you’re done? And if not, does the acrylic paint start flaking, chipping on its own over time? Or get scratched? Love your videos!!
