Riding Japan's fastest bullet train shinkansen to Hiroshima, Japan!
How to travel to Hiroshima from Fukuoka City? We start our trip at the #hakatastation 博多駅, one of the largest and busiest railway stations in all of Kyushu. Since it's our very first time on a Japanese bullet train, we show you how to buy tickets for the Shinkansen step by step before exploring the massive ekiben (or train bento 駅弁 ) section at Hakata.
We even have time to do some vintage camera shopping and learn a bit about Fukuoka's famous Matsuri festival from a participant!
Finally, we board the Sanyo Shinkansen (山陽新幹線) for Hiroshima City (広島市), and boy, was it fast! Traveling at speeds over 300 kph, the Shinkansen is the fastest way of traveling (or teleporting) from one Japanese city to another.
