@@wearebackroadsbound Yes...after watching a few other videos on this trail it looks like they put a gate right before the cemetery. I also read comments on the residents that live on that trail and how they spend a lot of their own funds to maintain that trail. Looks like some 4x4 folks are doing stupid things tearing up the trail. Hopefully others will be mindful and respectful on that beautiful trail...or unfortunately others like myself won't get to experience in the future. I don't live no where near there so it would suck to make that trip and find out it's no longer open to enjoy.

Yes unfortunately there are those that do not subscribe to the leave no trace principles. Or any principles at all for that matter. We have cleaned up many many beer cans on our rides through there but idiots abound and destroy these opportunities for everyone else. Hope you have a chance to ride the road it’s beautiful out there.

@@wearebackroadsbound It's the same issue here in Florida. There are parts of the trails that selfish folks decide to do stupid stuff on and the Florida wildlife commission closes those trails off.

This is the trail I put my Crosstrek to the test. Slipping clutch, losing traction, super tight sphincter and my wife and nephew having the time of their lives... never knowing that my car hated me at every single crossing. But it made it to the cemetery and back and keeps on going. God bless Subaru's.

I was born And raised in this area, some info on the church that used to be there, the congregation moved down to the beginning of bushy head the white church there, then in the 70s they built new church on Lucious rd, the Boardtown church of Christ, that’s were my parent is buried

If you look up cashes valley church of Christ on google you see pictures of the old church before some teenagers burn it down, and if you can find a book by Lawrence Stanley he wrote some ghost stories about the old church

Also you can’t make it up to graveyard anymore they put a gate up about 2 miles from it, they caught few jeeps up there destroying the mountain side next to the graveyard this is very sad that people don’t have respect for the dead

Enjoy watching Cashes Valley trip. Question is your Rubicon Gladiator stock or are you running a lift and if so what brand and inches, and tire size. I plan on lifting mine up some. Your wife did a great job on the videos. My wife and I are going to go check it out. Maybe we can meet up and do a trail sometime. Thanks again.

Hey y’all first off thanks for watching and we would happily ride Cashes Valley again just give us a heads up when you’re planning a trip and we will see if we’re free. The Gladiator in that video was riding on 35s and had the 2 inch Mopar lift. Hope that helps and safe travels

I hope it works for you. Because we really don’t see ourselves out in Moab doing serious rock crawling we feel that the Mopar lift fit our needs for now. Also I just recently pulled my 35 and went to 37 mostly for aesthetic purposes it looked a bit off after we put the rack and tent on kinda top heavy if you will. The 37’s make it look right again but not I have almost brand new 35’s for sale. So be sure of your usage plans before you commit to the build or you could waste money

Please take the name of this area off of the video. This is a very quiet residential area. I have seen other KZfaqrs travel here but not use the name for that very reason. Our cabin is the road to the left after you pass over the first little trickle of water in the road. We already get large hordes of jeeps coming down our road as it is.

Good morning.......... If you object to traffic in your area I would suggest you move to another location. The scenery in the national forests is there for everyone to enjoy. Last time I checked you don't own anything other than the plot your house is on.......... And that is probably a mutual interest between you and the bank..........Have a GREAT DAY....... My group is planning an outing in this area just to visit you this fall.................
@joshzarbaugh

@XXPS60 Did you post this video? Oh that's right, you didn't. I wasn't talking to you. Just so you know everything in this video that is green and brown is 100% privately owned. The rocks in the Creek are maintained by the homeowner that lives just on the other side. I simply ask this KZfaqr very nicely to just remove the name of the road. They don't have to and my comment to them didn't concern you. God Bless.

@@joshzarbaugh As a resident of North Georgia for 60 years, that frequents all the back roads............ I own 2 Jeeps and enjoy exploring the back roads.......... AGAIN! If you want seclusion MOVE! I have told everyone I run across about this area and encourage more to visit YOU............ BTW are you from Florida? Seems a lot of folks move up here and immediately complain about traffic in front of their home............ Next they put up posted signs and try to install gates to keep people out............... MOVE!
