The Highlands of Scotland are famously known in the mountain bike world for the arduous Fort William Downhill World Cup track, long, tough and rocky. However, away from that there is a wealth of trails that remain undiscovered.

unfortunately its just not possible to ride the quirang in skye as sein above.. there is no less than 5000 tourists per day 365 days of the year that walk along that very trail.. even at crazy early hours there are photographers perched all along that trail.. must have had it shut off or something.. many will be highly disappointed making a long journey to ride that and be let down.

We were there in early April and it wasn't that busy, we waited for points and gaps so we could get the shots we wanted. Even with the tourists its a once in a lifetime ride!
