I very much doubt that you have broken a rib , you would hardly be able to breath never mind ride a bike ..you need man up 😂 what a fantastic bike it just keeps going no matter is thrown at it .good luck with the rest of your trip 👍

You’ll be ok with your ribs Olie more than likely just bruised. I’ve got the same thing from a similar slow bike fall. Unfortunately they take quite a while for the pain to subside. It won’t keep me off my bike though and the same for you. Love the scenery your travelling through at the moment. And good luck with replacing your shock absorber 👍

I recently broke 5 ribs (plus several,other bones) in a low speed “drop”. It was 10 weeks before the pain level reduced enough (without strong Endone tablets) to allow me to get back on the bike, so I seriously suggest you have bad bruising, which should dissipate soon. Not to say the pain level isn’t somewhat similar though. Safe travels 👍😀🇦🇺

The views in your video of the Altai Mountain landscape are beautiful. I think one of your best landscape videos. Interesting information about the area. The Altai Bison seems to be very similar to the American Bison. Great camping spot! Lavi, feed Olli some rib healing bone soup. lol Excellent video, cool.

Liking that landscape you are going to love Norway when you go there. No cows on the road but loads of reindeer . The carving site was interesting. Also the bison were sweet and magnificent.

Incredible roads and scenery for a good days riding. If you want to see more cows, horses and occasional pigs, come and ride. Through the New Forest in south England. Lovely and good campsites. Stay safe and well. You may not of broken your ribs. But cracked or bruised ribs are really painful too. Three week in mine are still painful. Happy and alive

Wow! What a stunning part of the world! What an incredible find those carvings were! It's amazing to see stuff like that and think back to times long ago. I hope no one has added their own carvings to it. I visited similar petroglyphs along the Colorado River in the USA and we heard a story about someone who was caught adding to them, I think they were fined $100,000! Bison are such amazing beasts! More cheese and bread! 🤣 What a beautiful place to camp! How can you resist that? A perfect end to a magical day!

This is not a cake. It’s called halva, it’s usually made from sunflower seeds, but you find more rare types with pine and flax nuts. Quite a tasty sweet, but very fatty.

fractured my ribs in 3 diff spots abt 6 months ago during a ride...had to ride another 1200km over 2 days... surprisingly the pain went away everytime i got on my versys 1000 😅

With a broken rib you should have a hard breathing , a bruise and swelling around the painful area . Did you have any of these problems?

Could you get 'VACATION DOCTOR' to check you out Ollie. You may have just bruised a rib or two which is still painful. Pity Lavi isn't able to ride the bike, that would be good. Nasty riding with bruised/broken ribs. I couldnt ride for at least a month with mine! (Well perhaps if you dosed me with v strong painkillers/morphine haha). Think you got nasty bruised ribs most likely (am no doctor😜). Great to see those Bison and its amazing riding country!!!

Would be very surprised if you had a broken rib. Most likely bruised. Doubt you would be able to ride with broken rib. Even cracked would be very difficult to ride. Unless you have it strapped up you would have a very difficult time riding. Speaking from experience. Good luck further.

Having had broken ribs a couple of times including a punctured lung doctor’s told me that there’s really not much they can do about it just take it easy and don’t do anything to make it worse

@@LaviandOllie the bruising can take weeks to recover. I've experienced it. Just a niggly injury. I can't give medical advice. But I remember a Dr saying to keep the lungs expanded, try not to breathe shallow to the pain, and avoid cartwheels 🤸🤸🤸🔆
