Hi Sean, could you do a deconstruction on the Intro to Roundabout by Yes? Steve Howe uses all sorts of scales and I have no idea lol I think its maybe Lydian?

I think for it's little bit harder for some people to play this riff in full shape, in fact Graham didn't strum down all the 6 string although he came in full shape barre chord.

Hi Sean! Could we possibly get a video on how to write modal chord progressions? Like how would I write a chord progression in A Lydian or E Phrygian ? Or if you have already done one could you point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I saw somewhere (maybe in this chanel) that VI is often converted into a major. Is this such a case?

I think you have to flatten the minor vi to "make it" become a major chord (bVI). "Lovely Day" (1977) by Bill Withers chord prog is E - C#m - A maj7 - C Maj7 - Bm7. That C Maj7 to my ear anyway, is the cool sounding surprise chord; it's not in the key! It is either a bVI or bIII depending if you call the scale E Mixolydian or A Ionian. Clear as muddy waters? No wait, I love Muddy Waters.

Sorry but this is wrong.Timing and fingering Slide is FIRST then the chord over e&a . Slide -e-&-a. The chords are played 'thumb over bass note' à la Hendrix. I saw Blur live a few times. Plus you can see what Graham does on You Tube.
