What a setup. I went full Kemper, and while I'm happy with it, I really miss pedals. I've been debating doing a bit of a hybrid set-up like this. Starting a pedal board from scratch isn't cheap (and I have about a billion guitars/upgrades I'm wanting at the moment). Side note: Thank you all so much for all of the work you put into this. You equip people with the tools they need to improve worship experiences all over the world. I love all the information and great tones I've gotten from you all. Keep rocking, my dudes.

Michael Thompson I am in the same position. Love the Kemper, and would now like to build a pedal board, but starting basically from scratch (already invested in a Timeline). Bradford - It would be great to hear thoughts on what order to build a great board. Start with tone and then add modulation, or the opposite. I am looking to do it right (not necessarily cheap). What are the core pedals needed before I build out a board, knowing that I can supplement with the Kemper effects during the process. Thanks for all that you guys do, and the excellence that you do it with!

@@BCguitar75 Yeah, it's an expensive endeavor! I spent many many thousands of dollars to get the board I wanted. I'm not sure I really want to spend that much again, but we'll see! I'll probably get a good fuzz and be content with that for a while. The world of pedals is an endless rabbit hole, try not to get sucked away, friend!

Lots of judgement for a rig that most here would play if they could! All those knobs do give me a bit of anxiety though I must say 😂 The dual kemper thing is sweet, I gave it a shot for a bit but I found it sounded too wide for me, which is sort of a crazy thing to say but in a mix it was washing out a bit too much. The iem tones were the best I've ever had though!

Okay, so i've been playing bass and guitar for just 1,5 years and i built my first pedalboard just 5 months ago. Since then i've acumilated more pedals than i would ever have thought. After watching to many videos of pedalboards, rig rundowns, pedal revievs excetra ive never heard a tone this striking before. This video really opened my eyes of how you can combine overdrive with modulation and so on. So to the point. If anyone has tips on how i can get similar tones to the ones in this video on a budget please help me. I have an Mosky Tube Screamer, an Artec Fuzz, HB Extreme Metal, 2 cheap Chorus pedals, a Belcat Tremolo, Eno Flanger, Ambient and Octaver, Ammoon Delay and Tomsline Reverb. Along with some Compressors, boosters, wah and volume pedals. If you have tips on how to set up my board to get sounds like the ones in the video please help me. I have some spare money to spend on new pedals if that can help. Cheers and sorry for my bad english.

Hey Bradford, what are your thoughts on running wet effects through the FX Loop? That’s how I’m running mine into a Kemper, but it’s a LOT of cable length even though my Kemper sits on stage. There has to be some tone loss happening. Is it really worth it?
@bmitchellmusic
@bmitchellmusic 4 жыл бұрын
Zach Jones I don’t necessarily notice any tone loss. Maybe some high end. Maybe. I just add that back. But using the Kemper FX loop makes my effects sound MEGA clean and I’m not super into that personally ha

What happened to the hx stomp. I have been using one for almost about a month and has been awesome. Not going to lie had a hard time getting a good sound at church but in my studio never had issues. I messed with global eq and my hx now sounds more like an amp. I cut some low freq that just don’t come out of a guitar amp and very bright frequency that just make the guitar harsh now it sounds good in every situation I use it in. Love your pedalboard! Thanks for the videos Worship Tutorials. God bless y’all.

About $5k in the pedalboard new for anyone curious (probably more given that price doesn't include cables and the board itself). Keep in mind these are new prices, if he is anything like me I look for used anywhere I can. $3600 in the pair of Kempers. And the Sure telecaster seems to run just shy of $3k. All in all very nice rig but also a very pricey rig.

I tend to make presets per song and name them based on their sound. That way when I’m leading the song instead of playing lead the sounds still translate and are still usable. I’ll have a riff slot, ambi clean, clean, dirt, rhythm-stuff like that. It makes sense to me so I guess that’s all that matters haha

Bradford Mitchell that’s what I do. I have 5 core sounds that correspond to the bottom foot switches and they never change.
