First Act needs to change their goddamn name if they want to be taken seriously.
@mdanthony189 жыл бұрын
True. Every time I just bring up the name First Act my friends react as if they suck or they're just good for beginners but not for serious, skilled musicians. Which is true. First Act should have their custom guitars and other instruments under a completely different brand but keep the beginner guitars with the same brand so their reputation won't be as bad.

some things make me question their actual faith in Jesus, in one of their songs it says "The blood relationship creates a wicked demise" when the blood relationship = eternal life the OPPOSITE of wicked demise. And in Hey John Whats Your Name Again He says "Salvation lies within" when it obviously lies within Jesus, not yourself. , Then they adopt traingle, and Mike Hranica has an upside down pentagram brand for foot pedal?????? I think they are one of those wolf in sheeps clothing Christian bands but idk for sure.... however my first example is pretty crazy.

I'm sure they are fine guitars, but I think most chuckle a bit when you see someone playing a First Act guitar. I am an old school metal head and not into the Devil Wears Prada etc, so I just don't relate. Charvel, Ibanez, Kramer and Gibson's are more my speed.
@acarlovonsexron199410 жыл бұрын
Firelock I don't get this group either, but High on Fire and Mastodon are way more old school. Those Mastodon guys have a huge collection of 70s and 80s Gibson's, Silverburst Flying V's and LP Customs, E2 and Artist CMT Explorers, RD's, etc. Bill even has his own signature Goldburst Explorer. Brent just needed a 12 string in the style of a Yamaha SG, and the First Act guys built it up for him. He also has a killer plexilglass flying v with a vibrola and an aluminum neck built by some guys that are doing Travis Bean reissues and customs out of Pensacola, Florida.
