Dude just found your channel wish I saw it earlier. 27, got out of school at the start of 2016. Jobs around me took a shit and hiring freezes at all major factories that took new guys. Worked for small shops that piddled around here and there and didn't get much experience. Now I am 4 years into it with most of experience being MIG on crap for small companies. Got my own machine, torch, grinders and tools but just can't get the courage to advertise. Truth be told I am just an average guy. Not cut out for 6G 6010 tests but not bad enough to find another career path. Oil field has died out and my company laid me off for covid. Again I find myself competing against others who are much more skilled than I at workplaces and the independent jobs like facebook marketplace are full of guys with oilfield rigs with $100k in tools offering to weld lawn mower decks. About to watch part 2 man but you are awesome keep the channel up

First don't be afraid to fail. Find out what works for you and do it. If you do good work more work will come your way and then at some point you can pick and choose what work you want. I run my own landscaping business and at first I was unsure about doing it but glad I did. Make money while you can and save it for when work is slow. It will work out. Great video and really enjoyed it.
