I like the video and request if you can do another one with more details of your demo in this video. I heard what you were saying, but it puzzled me when determining the exact size hook for the different types of lures. There are many (fat & thin) hooks, 5/0, 6/0, 7/0, 8/0, 9/0, and brands. You did not mention it here. There are many types of speed/fast drop jigs. The size of the hook (height and guage) will determine the type of lure, which goes back to choosing the correct size hook. Can you show in the demo why it recommended a more significant size hook is recommended?

Hello. What's your opinion on tying the leader directly to the solid ring ?

Hi mate. Yes it is an option and keeps it very simple but I prefer tying to swivel as the jig can spin at times causing line twist and also I think it gives the jig more freedom for movement

Hi Antonio, I generally use 80 pound standard mono shock leader with jigs say from 80 - 150g when targeting bottom reef fish but if Im targeting bigger pelagic fish like Dog Tooth Tuna with jigs from 150 - 250g then I use 200 pound mono shock leader

Hey mate well not so good atm and more to the point the weather has been terrible and so the window to get out on the blue water has been very small. Hopefully August is the start of the good calm days

Hi Antonio. So on medium size assist rigs like 4/0 & 5/0 I use a size 6 solid ring and on the bigger size assist rigs for targeting big fish like Dog Tooth I use a size 8 - 10 solid ring depending the brand.

Hey Brandon, yes tbo that jig would be my personal favourite out of all the jigs I have in store but for targeting the pelagic fish like tuna, kingfish, Ajs, Mackerel etc. It also caught some great reef species like dyno trouts and ironjaw but if I wanted to target the bottom reef species I use slow pitch jigs
