As a black woman, I really can’t stand Blossom. Being black is completely irrelevant to this conversation AND you don’t get to talk over someone just because you have more melanin than they do. She literally tried to control this conversation by telling everyone they can’t talk because she’s black like make it make sense 😂

"Blossom" is a blatant bully, who doesn't even TRY to hide the fact that he doesn't give a crap about the rights and safety of ACTUAL women, in the women's bathrooms he invites himself into. It doesn't matter if 100 7yo girls and 80yo grandmas are terrified; It's the ONE SINGLE poor, vulberable, full-grown, 6ft 4 man in a dress who's the REAL priority here- As long as HE feels "validated", all the dozens of actual women and girls just have to suck it up... Those 7yo girls were probably hateful, bigoted "transphobes", anyway. And the way he tries to use his identity, to silence everyone else is just pathetic. Being a black man myself, it's hilarious hearing him talk about "privelege"- Blossom has had more "privelege" than just about anyone I ever met, white, black, Asian, whatever. This is a guy who has no real achievements in his life; No business, no real skills, has never done anything significant for others...but SOLELY from grifting off his identity, and exploiting the guilt of white liberals, he's been given the stage at the Whitehouse, big Hollywood organizations, literally THE most powerful, influential groups on earth. Positions he got SOLELY because of his "trans" status... yet he still has balls to claim he's somehow "oppressed", because of that identity? (which he CHOSE to adopt) He's one of the most blatantly dishonest, narcisstic grifters I've ever seen. You could replace him with a tape recorder on loop, just repeating "You're RACIST!!", "You're TRANSPHOBIC!!" over and over, and lose literally nothing. The man is 100% incapable of independent, original thought.

As a white guy this entire conversation seems complex and irritating. If you decide you want to be something very different from what’s considered normal in society then the responsibility of figuring it out is on you. If things feel wrong to me I’ll say something about it. People’s reactions to things that are different are to be expected. Just deal with it and move on. It’s what we do as humans. Adapt… move on.

I know it's a hated word, but the bathroom issue comes down to "passing". Like it or not, women don't even notice a trans woman in the restroom if they can't tell it's a biological man. A man who truly suffered from gender dysphoria would want to do everything in their power to look and behave as a woman. Anything masculine would trigger them. Their whole goal is to pass as and be accepted as a woman. Those that wear lipstick and dresses but have full facial hair (just an example) do not have gender dysphoria. Maybe it's a fetish or any other number of categories - and thats okay and their choice - but they're not trans. You can't just change the definitions of words and facts and reality as it suits you, and the left just refuses to accept that.

Kids are very impressionable, they spend their entire adolescence trying to figure out where they best fit into society, and that changes often throughout the teenage years. Imagine being a tomboy or a boy who would rather be on the cheer squad than play sports, and having people tell you that means you’re trans. Imagine trying to grapple with your sexuality and having someone toss in the added confusion that you might be trans instead of gay. It’s common for teenagers going through puberty to feel uncomfortable with their changing body, suggesting those feelings are signs of gender dysphoria is highly irresponsible.

I wouldn't expect you to know this but trans in the military does actually affect other people. A large portion of your ability to get promoted comes down to your fitness scores, and there are two seperate scoring tables for both men and women, which were designed to give the most fair and balanced chances to score the most points. Well many of the categories aren't so much a different exercise but a relaxed standard. So a bunch of tabs women coming in and using the women's scoring standard will decimate biological women's abilities to get promotions up-ending while careers in the process so it does affect others.

For those reading this comment, this may not make sense if you're not an Australian. Idk about it being taught in school, it's such a rare thing that very few people are impacted with, if school covered every possible mental illness a person could have, you'd never lean them all. Schools should focus on the big ones affecting teens, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders, what they're currently teaching is what should remain being taught. If there were to be a part of a school that teaches this kind of stuff, it should be in elective classes like ATAR psychology, so only those who are going into jobs and need to dive deeper into mental-health-related topics will learn more about this. Schools don't even teach you about autism or ADHD, (at least at my school) which is WAY more common! So why would we jump to learning about Gender Dysphoria?
@eerielamp

Well, it's simply the most fashionable, edgiest one to teach and talk about! This whole movement has been about ignoring statistics to chase the Zeitgeist. Exactly. I asked the same question when my kids were in high school. Why are you teaching about a single rare psychiatric disorder, while ignoring much more common ones? The answers always amounted to ideology - which tells us the public school system is horribly compromised. We elected to keep ideology out of Australian public schools, many years ago. Now it's back in full force. Snuck back in under cover or darkness. That's a betrayal of both the tax payer, and the parents who choose public schools to protect their kids from indoctrination.

Or imagine getting ready and having your outfit on for the day only to realize after you left the house that you're missing something CRUCIAL to that outfit. There you go. Not just that, but to get certain things that my body, like yours, needs. It's not "I just dress like a woman to get what I want" because for one, that's just incredibly unrealistic, two, someone's gender identity is far more than just what they dress like or how they act so next time someone says "You can identify as what you want but I don't have to respect your gender identity" it's worth noting that EVERYONE has a gender identity.
