This song takes on more meaning when understood in context...the song comes from a prison movie about a man doing time and singing to his love from prison...In 1954, Alex North was contracted to compose the score for the prison film (released in 1955).... North then asked Hy Zaret to write the lyrics, but Zaret initially declined, saying he was too busy painting his house. North was able to convince him to take the job, and together they wrote "Unchained Melody."...and the rest is history...maybe the most beautifully written romantic song of all time...and as I understand Zaret did eventually get his house painted.

For those interested check this out. The note progression is. B4, B sharp, D, D sharp, E, F, F sharp, G, G sharp, A, A sharp, B, C, (octave up) C sharp, D, D sharp, E, F, F sharp, G, G-5 21 notes Precious few vocalists can do that and maintain control while making it look so easy. Dude, what you hear is major league in music. When you can't play 3 music notes neither sing, the only choice left is doing hip-hop, RAP or meanstream shitty pop songs, with the help of AutoTune fake singing and the other studio fake tricks and tracks. In short, crappy art. Meanstream music industry is now a rip off.

this song was wrote I believe in 1955 for a prison movie, Bobby Hatfield (Righteous Bros) recorded it in 1965. Let me set the stage for you its the last song of the night, you pull your woman close, put your arm around her take her hand in your other hand and fold your fingers around hers, turn that hand so that her hand is laying on your chest and yours on hers, she can feel your heartbeat you can feel hers, your running your fingers up and down her spine, she has her arm around your neck rubbing your neck, her fingers playing with the back of your hair, you lay your check on the top of her head, she looks up at you, softly kiss her check, she raises up on her toes for a kiss, have you got the picture, lol

In my humble opinion, yes sir... especially on songs that you’re not really sure about or you haven’t heard ever before some of the most critical parts of the song are talked over as people are critiquing them… To wait until the song is completely over and not talk over any of the music you will find many people will like that ....that you didn’t talk over the music...I have noticed on this one particular song that has been critiqued by maybe 100 people that I’ve seen so far and almost all of them talk over the music! Be different and don’t do that… Just saying… Best wishes in your endeavors

Yeah, I watched this because you looked pretty cool, but if this was the first time you watched this, you missed all the good stuff. Usually, when reactors are compelled to comment during a song, they stop it, and when they restart, it's backed up 5 seconds, so they don't miss anything. It seems like you're more interested in your own presentation than a respectful review of the performance. I don't know why you even clapped and commented. It seemed like you were too busy with you to appreciate it. I'm a big fan of reaction vids, but this didn't cut it bro. Just sayin'. Constructive criticism.
