30 seconds into this songs, most of you young girls are patting their chest, getting that smile and starts swaying!!!!! Love y'alls reactions. Same thing happened to us in 1965!!! Glad to see music can still hold its power. Great site!!! Lost that loving feeling, is another great listening song by these Brothers. Bobby was only one on this song, but dynamic duo on everything else. Besides dressed like they do, you know class is coming!!!!

Great Reaction! “Unchained Melody” was written for a prison movie titled 'Unchained' (1955). The lyrics were written from a prisoners perspective longing for his loved one he had left behind. Bobby Hatfield (1940-2003) and Bill Medley. In 1965 on a live television program (The Andy Williams Show) Bobby Hatfield gave one of the greatest live television performances in history. If you want to hear more of their great music, try: “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” which was the most played song of the 20th Century. Also “Soul and Inspiration”, “Rock And Roll Heaven” and “Ebb Tide”, "Somewhere", "My Prayer", "I Believe", "Crying in the Chapel” and "Only You".

@@justcinnamon7003 You will find that KZfaq requires you to "React" during songs. The best people look for appropriate places to stop the song and make a brief comment. Try not to talk over a song, if at all possible. Another great song and artist is "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" by Tom Jones. Best Wishes!

The Righteous Brothers consisted of Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield (who sang this song as a solo on the Andy Williams Show). Many decades ago I took my date to a Righteous Brothers concert and still have fond memories of those days.

Live band and performance. He and Bill Medley (not real brothers) both wanted to record the single, so they tossed a coin and Bobby Hatfield won. It was meant to be because no one could match this perfection. After 60 years it’s still thrills old and young alike. RIP Bobby.

Loved your reaction. This is Bobby Hatfield sang tenor n the other guy Bill Medley sang baritone. But sometimes they sing solo. They are not brothers. I met Bill years ago n he is a beautiful man. Bobby died years ago but Bill is still singing. He is in his 80's now. Did you listen to Soul n Inspiration n You've Lost That Loving Feeling. Bill was good friends with Elvis.

First there are 2 Righteous Bros. But at times they did solos. This is Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Bros He's the tenor.Bill Melody is the baritone voice. THEIR voices shouldn't have blended but some how they did and it was ue magic.This performance was sheer perfection by Bobby.No one will ever do this song like Bobby Hatfield. Remember that this was a live performance just his voice from the heavens and a small microphone. No do overs.You should look up and listen to them together .

Hi Cinnamon, I'm a new subscriber and I must say that you do a nice job with music reactions!!! Keep up the good work...With "Unchained Melody" You have chosen a true classic that has stood the test of time!!! This song right here has been covered by several artists even until today in 2021...However, in my humble opinion, this guy Mr. Bobby Hatfield (R.I.P.) of The Righteous Brothers, he owns this song!!! Because "hands down" no one has ever sung it like him nor performed it the way he did!!! By the way, that "thump" you just heard was me "dropping my mic!!!"
@justcinnamon70033 жыл бұрын
Yes he did own this song. I just recorded a song with both brothers and I was in shock. That will be up soon.😍😍😍🥰

When Bobby bites his lip at the end knowing he NAILED it! His parents were in the audience too! Bobby hated the brightly coloured suits until his manager said he’d get laid every night! Lol! This was featured in the movie Ghost... kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g85xeJadtsWqeJs.html The same clip, but with singer Andy Williams asking why it was a solo! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fMCKpMlkpryuknk.html A bit more of that same show... kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ga1zn9lqrLG9naM.html

This is the greatest love song ever written and the late Bobby Hatfield is the ONLY singer who has nailed it. He has made this song his own, Elvis couldn't come close to Bobby's version. It was originally written for a Black opera singer in a 1955 film even he couldn't do it the justice it deserves and even today's opera singers male and female cannot do it the justice that Bobby has given it. It is one beautiful song with a beautiful singer. 🇦🇺🇦🇺😷😷
